Imhotep: Builder of Egypt (Remastered edition)

Description
TTS rendition of the family game by Kosmos. Even though the boards & cards are all in German, English descriptions have been added to clarify their intent. Any of the English scans that I found were poor at best, so translating the existing German ones was the better option. Just hover over an item for a few seconds and the translation will appear. If high-quality scans of English components pop-up, I'll eventually swap them out. This workshop item is a remastered edition from the original module by Funkenstein. Without him, this rendition would never have been possible.

A round & turn overview has been added on the right-hand side of the screen to allow players to keep track of what to do next. I've added a stated English rulebook at one of the table's corners, granting players the option to learn the game from inside the module itself.

Description from Boardgamegeek.com:

In Imhotep, the players become builders in Egypt who want to emulate the first and best-known architect there, namely Imhotep.

Over six rounds, they move wooden stones by boat to create five seminal monuments, and on a turn, a player chooses one of four actions: Procure new stones, load stones on a boat, bring a boat to a monument, or play an action card. While this sounds easy, naturally the other players constantly thwart your building plans by carrying out plans of their own. Only those with the best timing — and the stones to back up their plans — will prove to be Egypt's best builder.

@Uncle Phil

No worries - it's a great version! I found that the issue was with all 4 quarry piles. I ended up downloading the TTS mod backup tool which managed to acquire the files that (for some reason) weren't downloading in the game itself! So it now works for me with no issues and we've been enjoying Imhotep since! :) Thanks again!

@Lloydikins

Thanks for the kind words. Do you know which specific pile of cubes caused the error message? I've updated the mod in the meantime, removing all images on the cubes and recolouring them via the ingame tool. Hopefully it fixes the issue!

This is a fantastic looking mod, but I'm getting an error that seems to be to do with the pile of cubes. It says "WWW image error: unknown image"

Anyone else getting this and sorry if it's been asked elsewhere!

@ramiller19 Right click the board and change it's state. You can also hover over the board and press 2 on your keyboard to do the same thing.

Any way to flip to the B side? I may just be missing something

Really? I have just cross verified, the resolution and pixel density and everything is the same between the source and the ones I have modified. Strange. No worries

@headhunter: I've downloaded the assets, thanks a bunch! I've compared the German & English images but each time I try to load in the English ones, the quality is far lower than what's currently in place. The tiles (Obelisk, etc) are even nearly illegible. :S I'm going to stick to the current files, but I appreciate your effort regardless

Please do not add me as creator as I haven't got a clue how the mods work. Thanks again for your hard work.

@headhunter: Glad you liked it. If you wish, feel free to send them over and I'll add them into the mod and add you as a creator as well. I always appreciate a good deed and will gladly give props where due.

hi Uncle Phil, thanks for the mod. I have used the images within the mod and translated them into English. They look very close to original. If you are interested, I can send them across to you.
