How To: World At War Cheats and Commands

Stuck on zombies and can't get past round 4 or 5, or do you wanna use an xbox controller? Then this guide will help you.

Enabling The Console

Hello there! Welcome to my Cod Waw tutorial guide. This guide will help you with what you need. Firstly, enable the console.
To enable console:

Go to the "options". Then click on "game options". Make sure that "Developer Console" is set to 'yes'. WAIT: Before you close this, there are some maps need to have cheat mode activated on it. The zombie maps will not need this. I think.. REMEMBER: Only a few of them work online ! All of them work on solo!

Commands

So, if you want to use the commands/cheats, then input them into the console (duh).
Here are some of the cheats:

God- Never die.
Demigod- Double health/ Can survive more than one grenade explosion.
sf_use_ignoreammo 1- Unlimited ammo/ Bottomless clip.
cg_laserforceon 1- Laser for all weapons.
give all- Gives all weapons. (If on Der Riese, it will give your both original & Pack-A-Punched versions)
noclip- Fly throught objects such as walls.
notarget- AI's stop working/ Zombies stop spawning. If on campaign, enemies won't notice/target you.
cg_thirdperson 1/0- Goes into third-person
g_speed (1-100)- Increases/decreases the speed your character can go.
g_gravity (1-100)- Increases/decreases speed of player's jumping/falling.
magic_chest_movable (0-1)- Makes the Mystery Box not move/stay in position.
player_meleeRange (1-50)- Increases/decreases the melee range.

Hooking Up a Controller

Now for the controller.
What you need:

An Xbox 360/One controller. (Duh)
And CoD:WaW on steam. (Again, Duh)

Now plug in your controller,and make sure there is a connection from the controller to the pc.. The controller will not connect to your computer unless you have an adapter or cable to plug in. That being said, you usually can't just grab a wireless controller from your Xbox and expect to be able to play. Now, log onto CoD:WaW and get into the home screen. Click Options & Controls, and then click game options. Once there, make sure Enable Console says "Yes" and return to the main screen. From here, click the ~/` Key on your keyboard, (in the top left, under escape), and a console should appear. Type "exec default_controller.cfg" exactly as shown (without the quotations) and press enter. The controller is now active, but will only respond during the game session, as it should.
