Vytvořil: mario kart wii 150cc
Oh...Hi their! Its me! That person that made that one Pacifist Guide! But...today you will all learn how hellish A Genocide Run is! (*WARNING*, IF YOU ARE PLANING ON DOING A GENOCIDE RUN; DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! Wait why do you say that? BECAUSE *ACORDING TO A FRIEND* A GENOCIDE RUN IS EMOTIONALLY & MENTALLY DRAINING! & WHEN ONE BEATS IT *IF DOING TRUE GENOCIDE* THE GAME WILL LOCK ONE OUT OF PLAYING IT! *I AM NOT KIDDING!* But if you really wanna go through with it...READ ON, RANDOM PERSON!). Oh also, like my last guide, I will be using the Undertale wiki & it's glorious info to make this guide!

What Is The Genocide Route/Run?
Well..."It consists of the protagonist killing every possible monster in the Underground. This route's ending can be achieved without prior completion of the game. Once the protagonist completes a Genocide Route, subsequent True Pacifist Routes will have their ending altered – even after a True Reset."(yep. You read that right!)

"There are two independently conceived definitions for the No Mercy Route. One definition is equivalent to the Genocide Route, making the terms interchangeable; the other describes a specific type of Leaderless Ending where all monsters from all encounters – but not all possible monsters – are killed."

Method:

*The Genocide Route occurs when the protagonist kills every enemy in every region - the Ruins, Snowdin Forest, Waterfall, and Hotland. (The CORE is a subregion of Hotland.)
How Does One Start This Hellish Journey?
Well, it quite simple! (Like in most other RPGs) Just start kiling! That's it, no fancy ♥♥♥♥ to do!
Alright! First Boss!
Yeah, (Like my other Undertale guide) I'm summarizing it by boss XD.

Toriel!(AKA, Tori.)

*Kill her:
  • Another Froggit says that monsters can be spared if their HP is low enough. Toriel is not one of these monsters; attacking her when her HP is low will deal more damage than usual and kill her. Toriel goads the protagonist into attacking her which, combined with this Froggit's advice, could lead the protagonist to kill her accidentally.

  • If the protagonist kills Toriel this way, she tells the protagonist not to allow Asgore's plan (which involves taking the protagonist's SOUL) to succeed
  • If her guard is lowered from sparing her, attacking her once will kill her. She tells the protagonist that they are just as cruel as the monsters outside and dies.(Both me and the game will remind you how much of a "Monster" you are!)

  • If the protagonist is on a Genocide Route, Toriel dies in one hit. She realizes that she was keeping the monsters outside safe by attempting to keep the protagonist trapped and dies while laughing.
  • The protagonist can flee from Toriel, but this will not let them leave the Ruins.

  • If the protagonist reaches 2 HP or less at any point in the fight, Toriel's attacks will move away from the protagonist's SOUL. This pacifism can be used to win the battle peacefully without having to dodge her attacks.
Alright! Who Next On The Hit-List?
(Sadly) that would be Papyrus.(BTW: You are really gonna have a bad time during this run!)

  • In the Genocide Route, Papyrus pulls much of the same antics that he does in a Neutral/Pacifist route, except often cites the protagonist's unwillingness to complete his puzzles He remains oblivious to the protagonist's motives until their battle, where he instantly spares them, wishing to guide the protagonist on a better path and be friends. The protagonist can then spare or kill Papyrus.
  • If the protagonist kills him, he states he still believes in the protagonist and thinks that they can become a better person. If they decide to spare him, Papyrus proclaims that they "DIDN'T DO A VIOLENCE," and says that he was secretly terrified of the protagonist. From that point on, the protagonist may choose to "hang out" with Papyrus, and the protagonist will abort the Genocide Route and move to a Neutral Route.

  • In the Genocide Route, Papyrus instantly offers to spare the protagonist. However, a single hit will kill Papyrus. Sparing him aborts a Genocide Route.

  • Attacking Papyrus after his "Completely Normal Attack" will lead to an instant kill, no matter the damage the protagonist's attack would normally do.
  • Repeatedly attacking Papyrus will cause him to attempt to use his special attack ahead of when he would normally attempt to use it.
Ugh! Why Must you Do Dis Hellishness?
Undyne is next BTW! This is were this route gets "Fun."

Alright! I'm just gonna sum the first part up for ya! It goes like the fight normally would:

NOW YOU SHALL SUFFER! :D

Meet Undyne The Undying! :P

Yeah...Good luck, Mate!

  • If Undyne's health reaches 0, she manages to cling on to life with Determination and survives further attacks from the protagonist. The protagonist's SOUL returns to Green Mode as Undyne continues attacking; the arrows move slower each turn. After several turns when this occurs, Undyne begins to ripple, her body starts to split apart. She reforms due to her Determination, causing her to have more Determination than her monster body can handle, causing her to melt (similar to the Amalgamates in the True Lab at the end of the True Pacifist Route) and slowly pass away.
  • Genocide Route:

  • *In Red mode, she can throw rings of spears which enclose on the protagonist while rotating, which is exclusive to the Genocide route. She has another version of this attack in which the spears do not rotate, but instead head straight towards the protagonist's soul; the spears travel in the direction they were initially facing for a few seconds before fading away. In Green Mode, she can conduct the same battle method as in the Neutral or True Pacifist Route, only faster paced and with more arrows. However, she has a few attacks where the spears move extremely slowly, but there are much more of them, and they are much closer together.
Oh, Hoi Muffins!
Yay! Muffins! Your back!(Not for long. :/) :D

(*NOTE* Muffet isn't the character I like the most in Undertale. I just gave her a cute nick-name! Also, I do have a nick-name for Papyrus: Papy! <3)

Um...The wiki lagged out & died...Well,(last I checked) the fight goes on as normal! :P

(actually, like most bosses in this run, Muffins dies in one hit :P)
Aw Snap! Its Mettaton!(NEO)
Mettaton NEO!

  • Genocide Route:

  • Despite claiming to be a human eradicator, Mettaton NEO does absolutely nothing. Any non-missing attack will instantly kill him as he is scripted to take between 900 000 and 999 999 damage, no matter the strength of the attack. There is no way to spare Mettaton NEO, meaning that the point at which a Genocide Route cannot be aborted occurs before fighting him when the last random encounter is killed.

  • Contrary to Mettaton NEO's dialogue ("I CAN TELL FROM THAT STRIKE, DARLING. YOU WERE HOLDING BACK."), a weak attack does not revert to the Neutral Route. Only failing to depopulate Hotland/Core completely will cause Mettaton NEO to say this and revert to the Neutral Route
The Final Boss Of Dis Route Is...
Yep, your almost there! Just gotta get past judgement!

"♥♥♥♥!"-Your reaction to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight.(Or "♥♥♥♥!")

Alright! This is the fight of the year! You vs Sans!

(I'm so good at Guide making. :D)

  • Sans is the final boss of the Genocide Route. He is widely considered the most difficult enemy in the game among players, despite the fact that his CHECK claims that he is "the easiest enemy" (due to the fact he only has 1 HP, 1 AT, and 1 DF). He gets around these limitations by dodging attacks (thus negating the need for high defense or health) and removing the protagonist's INV through Karmic Retribution.

  • Much like his brother Papyrus, Sans uses bones in his attacks and uses blue mode. Sans, however, uses faster and trickier attacks, frequently switching the protagonist's SOUL between blue and red mode. He also uses straight beam projectiles that emerge from skeletal faces, known as "Gaster Blasters."

  • Despite being considerably difficult, his dialogue implies he has not been going all out on the protagonist. This is likely due to his knowledge of the protagonist's ability to SAVE and reset, which he talks about extensively between turns. He even goes as far to say that even going to the surface does not appeal to him anymore, since one day they will all be stuck in the underground again, with no memory whatsoever of the previous timeline.

  • Sans's method of fighting can be seen as an opposite to Photoshop Flowey's fighting style. Whereas Flowey fights the protagonist using bullet hell techniques, Sans utilizes gravity to make his attacks require platforming skills, such as slamming the protagonist's SOUL against the walls of the bullet box, and making the protagonist jump through gaps between bones and onto platforms.

  • Sans immediately starts off the battle with his "strongest attack": an array of bones and beams. He is the only enemy in the game that has the first turn rather than the protagonist, which can catch the unwary off-guard. If the protagonist loses to Sans and re-fights him, he skips to the last part of his pre-fight dialogue.

  • Eventually, Sans will offer mercy, and if accepted, he covers the whole Bullet Board with bones, until the protagonist's HP is drained to 0. The Game Over screen will then appear with a sped up version of Dogsong instead of the regular game over theme, and will read "geeettttttt dunked on!!! if we're really friends... you won't come back" in Sans's voice. This means Sans must be killed to continue past him in the Genocide Route.

  • Should the protagonist survive this (via cheating), Sans will eventually remove the bones from the box, but the protagonist will be trapped in the box, and nothing will happen after that, forcing the player to restart.

  • To progress the fight, the protagonist must keep attacking Sans, as he cannot dodge forever. If the protagonist performs any other action besides FIGHTing, then the battle will not progress, as his dialogue does not appear or advance. After getting past his mercy offer, this part of the fight has Sans constantly flickering the screen as he transitions through his attacks, uses his beams more often, and even attacks the protagonist as they navigate the menu. After enough turns, Sans will then perform a "really cool regular attack," launching the entirety of his arsenal at the protagonist, including a bevy of Gaster Blasters, slams against the Bullet Board's walls, amongst his other attacks.

  • Once the protagonist survives his final attack, Sans will use his "special attack," which is nothing. Because of the lack of attack, his turn does not end, which prevents the protagonist from accessing the menu, in hopes of the protagonist becoming bored as time flies. If one tries to move to the left before Sans falls asleep, his eye will flash blue/yellow, and the SOUL will be teleported back to the center of the bullet board. After several minutes and dialogue, Sans will eventually fall asleep, allowing the protagonist to push the Bullet Board towards the fight button; Sans will wake up and dodge the first attack. However, the cursor is still on the FIGHT button and the protagonist automatically attacks, instantly finishing him off for good. Unlike most enemies, however, he starts to "bleed" (which is theorized to be injected determination, ketchup, or even blood) then limps offscreen before dying, raising the protagonist's LOVE to 20 and HP to 99.
Ok, Now What?
Well, You just got a bit more left to go! YAY!

...The thing is you gotta kill flowey right quick first: then some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will show up & talk at you for a bit. Lastly: The game will crash its self & you'll have to wait 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mins once you reopen the game &(after those ten long minutes.) that asshat comes back to ask you a ? A) Destroy the world you just killed everybody in. Or B) save it. If you do chose A, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will call you a good partner. But if you chose B...PRACE YOUR SELF FOR A JUMP SCARE! (THATS WHAT YOU GET YOU MONSTER! XD)

Yay! You did it! have fun with the scaring that Undertale left you for any other run!
Bye!
Yay! I'm done with this guide! Hope you all liked it!(On the day of making this guide, I woke up at 4:00 am so...XD) Here's some more memes!

"Hi their" after 6 years one would think the mistake would be noticed...either it's being left there on purpose or you're just incredibly dim witted; of course, there's no reason it can't be both

Note, if you wait 10 minutes in the black screen CHARA will talk to you, if you say you want the world back, you will have to agree on a DEAL, if you say yes, chara will ask you if you will give them your SOUL, say yes, and you get UNDERTALE back, but the true pacifist will forever be changed.
