Roosters At Dawn

A mod that adds a little more life to the village, farm, and city life of Skyrim by having some of the roosters crow at dawn when in appropriate areas.

I wanted this mod to be as organic and believable as possible. I chose several different rooster sounds to add a little variation to the rooster crow each morning. Additionally the roosters will not crow at exactly the same time. A rooster crow will occur randomly at a time between 5:45 and 6:45 each morning (on default time scale). I limited the rooster crow to about one rooster per farm, village, and city so as not to overdo the sound effect.

For those of you that are looking for a preview, this mod was recently reviewed in a weekly skyrim mod video series. The clip can be found here:

I am open to suggestions, feed back, and bug reports.

Minimal change from vanilla, but it works and is midly pleasing. 50% more rooster crows would be a welcome improvement. Thumbs up.

Great mod, but Birds of Skyrim adds a similiar function. Was subscribed for a long though and worked great :)

Reminds me of the rooster that dropped by our townhouse several years ago. He would walk on the deck and of cource, we fed him. The early morning wake up calls were annoying but later on, if we didn't hear him we were concerned. We moved and still think about Mr.Mel. Good work!
