Okay, so to start things off: what in all hell was I thinking? This was a huge mistake. I think I broke the longbows. I don't even know what I did. I started modding, but instead of doing my normal stuff, I edited the longbows and started typing in random numbers and selecting random things.
I thought, "Y'know what would be fun? Y'know what would be really F*CKING fun? Screwing around with the longbows. Let's go break the f*cking longbows." That was quite possibly the worst mistake I've ever made since I started modding in Skyrim. I ended up with some weirdass thing that doesn't even resemble a bow. I know I've said that "I don't know what I did" in some of my other mods, but this time I mean it. The other times, I at least kind of knew what was happening. This time, I am utterly clueless and just as confused as everybody else.
Later on, I thought to myself, "Y'know what was a mistake? Screwing around with the longbows. That was a mistake." Before anybody subscribes to this mod, I want you all to know: this doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a fantastic mod. For all I know, it might just glitch and kill you or turn all the grass purple. I truly have no idea. If you're expecting something great, it might not be as great as you think. Still, for all I know, it could be absolutely fantastic. It's up to you all to discover what the hell I've just created.

Comment what happened to you when/if you got the bow! Any funny stories? What was the "longbow" like?

HOW TO GET THE "LONGBOW":
Step 1) Open Skyrim, and load your game.
Step 2) Press tilde (~).
Step 3) Type "help long bow". An eight digit/letter code should come up next to the word "longbow" in the console.
Step 4) Type "player.equipitem (the code you saw in the console)".
Step 5) Equip and enjoy!

IF THAT DOES NOT WORK, HERE ARE SOME OPTIONS:
Option 1) Ignore steps three and four. Instead, type "player.equipitem 0003b562".
Option 2) Make sure you're subscribed to the mod.
Option 3) When the Skyrim launcher opens, wait a minute or two so the game can download all your mods.
Option 4) When the Skyrim launcher opens, click on "Data Files" and scroll until you find this mod. Next to it, see if the checkbox under "Load" is checked. If it's not, make sure you check it.
Option 5) Sorry pal, those are all the alternatives I know of.

AGH why must windows 10 conflict with skyrim?
Before: stable 60 FPS during normal, high graphics gameplay, 20-30 mods installed
After: no more than 11 FPS during small, VERY low graphics gameplay with <10 mods installed >:( i hope the remastered edition is compatible...

Anyway fun looking mod!

An enemy dropped this and I forgot that I downloaded this so I was really confused. I love it.
