Patina and Gunsmith Skins

This guide lists all currently added skins that have the Patina or Gunsmith paintjobs, which can look great or even better than FN in BS condition!

Introduction

In this guide, I list all skins that are made with the Patina, Gunsmith or Custom Paint Job with reduced wear due to a well-crafted alpha channel or with Patina based characteristics.

Many of these skins gather no scratches even in Battle-Scarred condition, only becoming darker or changing color compared to their Factory New state.
However, many are a mix of scratches and darkening, some still being desired in Battle-Scarred due to their specific scratching pattern. Examples are Scouts and AWPs with black scopes, or skins that showcase hidden messages when in Battle-Scarred condition, such as the Glock Off World. I've added some non-patina skins, which have a alpha channel that protects a huge part of the artwork. My criteria while adding these was, over 70% of the artwork is visible and in good condition.

These skins are classified with a value from I to V in terms of importance of the float to the aspect of the said skin. The higher the value, the more different the skin looks when comparing a BS to a FN one. The rating doesn't mean the BS skin looks good, it just means it looks different, and some might like the BS version more than the FN version.
This classification method was placed with the intent to facilitate quick, vertical reading of this guide, while still being able to use CTRL+F to find skins with the wanted level of importance.

I also would like to present the Pattern Skins - Complete List guide, which lists all the skins that are affected by the PatternID number and that may look nicer than others depending on that number!

Classification

I - The wear/darkening is mostly unnoticed.
II - The darker setting of the skin might look better for some, but it's mostly unnoticed as well.
III - There's a distinct change in the brightness of the skin, but it doesn't increase it's appeal that much.
IV - The wearing changes the skin in some aspects or makes it very dark, making the high wear version desired by many.
V - The wearing is clearly visible and changes the skin completely, so much that we can consider it's two skins under the same name (Like the Rust Coat skin where we have the blue in FN and the rust in BS).

Disclaimer: I want all readers to know that my classification might not be perfect. Most classifications can be highly debated about, specially between someone who likes the skin and someone who doesn't care much about the said skin. So please, take my classification as a quick guide to identify your own classification of the listed skins in terms of difference from FN to BS states.
For instances, you might think I over-evaluate the Dualies Dualing Dragons, yet if you check screenshots side by side of the FN and BS conditions, you can se that the BS version has a darker background which highlights the white lines of the dragons, and personally, I prefer black on white than grayish black on white.

Disclaimer about CS2: CS2 changed lighting, therefore, this guide may feel very incorrect, as every skin prior to the Kilowatt case (07/02/2024) was judged with CSGO's lightning. Take the ratings with another grain of salt.

Ironically, these are my favorite visual style for skins. Most of these skins are quite affordable unless you can't trade up from it.

For pistols you forgot the USP-S | Lead Conduit which personally I would rate a III or IV as it gets darker
