Complete Raid Guide [2016]

Want to know how much c4 or rockets a door/wall takes? Rocket Launcher & Raiding techniques? Best loadout for raids? It's all here, this is the ultimate guide for your raids.

Raid Loadout

Besides having explosives for raids there are other tools you will need to assist you in a raid, especially if it's a online raid.


- Hammer *Important* (It's use will be shown later in this guide)

- x5

- x2 *Mostly for modded, but useful if you had any in vanilla*

-

- (Useful but Optional)

- (Optional)

What ammo type to use?

Best Type

- (HV 5.56 Rifle Ammo) Slightly higher in damage, higher velocity.

Poor Man's Type

- (5.56 Rifle Ammo)

What shell type to use for the pump shotgun?

Slugs or buckshot is a personal choice.

- (12 Gauge Slug) This shell type fires one projectile which can be used in long range.

- (12 Gauge Buckshot) The buckshot shell is designed for close range lethality.

Sheet Metal Doors & Wood Doors *PATCHED*

This ammo explodes on contact dealing a small amount of fragmentation damage to nearby objects.

- This type of ammunition can be used to destroy wooden doors/sheetmetal doors easily with this simple technique.

When you're shooting at doors with the explosive ammo make sure you shoot where the red box is.

Wooden doors are the same.

Raid Towers

Raid towers are a simple 2x1 structure that allows raiders to climb on top of a building. It's very cheap and simple to do.


To build it start of with a simple 2x1 wood thatch.



Then proceed to add 5 walls around your 2x1.



Then add U shaped stairs the bottom facing you then add a floor above.



Create one more level with the same method as above.
It should look something like this (2 Floors High)



(Make sure to add a bed before jumping) Keep adding as much floors as you want. This is how you create a simple raid tower, upgrading it can come useful if you can afford the resources. If it's not upgraded watch out for anyone who can break your foundation.




This chest method allows you to get you closer to the area you're trying to jump to with very low stability.

First add a floor on top.


Attempting to expand further will result in destruction always, due to the stability being low.


Here's the good part, this little trick allows you to expand abit more. You will simply need a Large Wooden Chest. Place the chest as far as you can on the edge, the middle of the chest would be good.


Now make sure you jump as high as you can, good luck!

C4 Damage Guide

This section shows you the damage c4 deals on specific objects, doors, walls. Most likely the most helpful part.

Rocket Stats

Don't bother using High velocity rockets, they do half the damage, they're really bad.

Rocket Launcher Techniques

Rocket launcher, alot prefer it over C4 I'm one of these people. The Rocket launcher is known for it's techniques and different ways of using it, today I will show you the best techniques for the rocket launcher.

4 Walls Destruction

This technique is very VERY useful, it allows you to blow 4 walls with 4 rockets.
A hammer is recommended, it makes things alot easier.

So the first thing you need to do is grab your hammer, point it on a base's wall. Try to find the corner of it.

When you find it make sure to keep your rpg crosshair aiming at that corner.
Then fire 3 rockets.
It should spread the damage evenly.


All the areas that will be hit.

Rocket Door Technique

This technique is very similar to the previous one, you just need to find the corner and shoot at the bottom


It should successfully hit all walls, and the door.

Cheaper methods for Hatches & Sheet metal doors

After experimenting more with rockets and other explosives I have come to these alternative methods that are alot cheaper then default methods.
(Will add graphics later on)
