Installing DOPA the new official episode.

Instructions on how to install the new official episode called "Dopa" which was released earlier this year.

• Once you have the RAR file, you want to open up the local directory where Quake's native files are stored. This can be done by right clicking on the game in your library, going to properties, then selecting local files, then "Browse Local Files".
  
  
• Once inside your Quake directory, create a new folder called dopa. It's important to use that directory name. Unpack the RAR inside this folder.
  
  
• Now run the "DOPA.BAT" file inside this directory. This will launch the vanilla edition of Quake using this new episode. If you did it right, a new demo rolling.
  
  
• In order to get the game to count the hours in Steam, I loaded a vanilla launch of Steam, then Alt+Tab'd out before running the BAT file. That way my hours playing Dopa, even using a seperate launching technique, would be counted towards my steam time tally.
  
  
• Alternativly, according to Mr. Meer, if you are running Quakespasm, you can type GAME DOPA in the console and that will launch properly.

I got it working with darkplaces, but my guns glitch for some reason. This doesn't happen for the other addons.
