Sentient AI Assembly Yards (10x Ship Build Speed)

Description
This mod adds a standalone technology that unlocks a spaceport module which increases the build speed of all combat ships (Corvettes, Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships) by 1000%. In other words, ships built at the host spaceport will finish ten times faster than normal. Maybe it's just me but I always found it odd that for all the things Synths and AIs excel at, more efficient construction was not one of them.

This is a late game technology that requires Spaceport Level 6 and, obviously, Sentient AI to be researched before it will show up. It is both a Rare and Dangerous technology with a base weight (chance to appear) of 25%. Militarists are 1.25 times more likely to acquire it, and Fanatic Militarists are 1.5 times more likely. Non-player empires meeting the prerequisites should also be able to research this tech, so beware!

The spaceport module itself has a hefty build and maintenance cost in an attempt to somewhat balance the incredible advantage that it provides. Initially it will need 5000 minerals, 1000 energy credits, 200 influence, and 5 years to construct, and will require 200 energy credits and 100 minerals monthly to remain operational. These costs are subject to change pending community feedback, and if requested I can happily post an alternative version(s) so people can choose what they like best (i.e. something like +500% (5x) build speed at half the costs of the original).

Tested and working in my own save file, however this IS my first mod and I do not claim it to be absolutely flawless. If you encounter any errors, please let me know and I will do my best to fix it ASAP.

Enjoy!

Id say the shipyard works fine with said cost it is so far, my two sugestions are that...
1. Instead of affecting each ships build speed affect the build speed of all
2. Have the ship yard also affect upgrade speeds

what about titan ships?

Does this still work with the current version?

I would suggest something around 100 energy and 80 minerals to be fair as the initial build cost is not small and late tech tree doess not refresh as quickly as early-mid game trees so it will take a while to have it available. TBH, I've already edited the mod files to my liking but since it got mentioned, I thought I would add my 2 cents.
Anyway, thx @Androgynous Heavynaught

I'd argue it shouldn't be all that expensive - it'll be difficult to acquire, and it's effectively ten spaceports in one, just that if you lose the one you're screwed. so I think it should be expensive to maintain, sure, but not THAT expensive.

Maybe you can make it an actual station(with 3dmodel) you can build around a star or planet. The ships build will spawn there. I always apprecitate high end technology. Tzhe high cost are fair.

As an additional balancing cost i would suggest this mod would cost all in all 3 module slots. (If that is even possible)

Also i wonder if the AI makes use of it and if this mod is compatible to other Spacestation Module mods?

Hey I've made changes to this mod. Basically I spilt it up into 4 different techs and modules each granting one type of ship only 100% bonus to build speed(along with cost rebalance. Do you mind if i upload to steam for others to use. I will give you credit where it is due.

Could you make this work with the new ships and more mod and the ships it puts into the game? It should not effect anyone not running the mod from what I understand how others have handled that kind of compatability but it would be really great for those useing the mod.
