Gungi - Hunter x Hunter

Description
Gungi is a fictitious board game from the anime Hunter x Hunter. It is basically a way more complicated variation of chess.
The rules are in english, the names on the pieces are in german (translations are available on the right).
This version is based on the spanish version by sheartnet: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=597184744&searchtext=gungi
I was only responsible for the translation and the linking of the full rules (the rules of the spanish version were incomplete).

It's fantastic. If you've ever played Shogi, you'll love this as well. It just takes a bit getting used to pieces having different moves on different "tower levels". It has good balance and is sure to improve your mental capacity by helping your memory and critical thinking skills.

V. I agree, should use iconography. I was hoping this would get made into a real game. Is it good?

But I think you should have used more friendly pieces than just names. :)
Diagram pieces like in The Duke are very popular these days.

Official playtested rules that I play with.

Thank you for spreading this game.
There aren't many who know it's a real thing that can be played.
