Simon Game

Description
Hey!

Here's another addon called Simon game which is basically a replica of classic game Simon.

In order to success you have to fully mimic shown color patern, if you miss the game will end. There is a highscore function for making game a bit more "competitive" ( fight for 1 st. place ).

There is not much to say about it. It doesn't require any addons, models and so on ( full standalone ). Highscores are saved in file ( garrysmod/data/simon_game/highscores.txt ), if you plan to wipe the highscores don't search them in code just go to the directory I just mentioned and delete the txt file, later script will re-create an empty one.

Compatibility:
It should be compatible with most gamemodes. ( Let me know if there are any compatibility issues ).

There might be bugs or glitches so I'm more than happy to know them.

I'm not sure what causes those errors. Error itself says that data received didn't match the required type, although there is only one type of data that gets transfered. It's kinda odd, it might be conflicting with other addon but I made sure that chance of conflict is reduced as much as possible. With the recent update I added extra "check" to make sure that the data type matches the required one.

Okay, so I can't let 2 people have the simon game? If that is the cause, ill just perm prop it somewhere in the map.

Updated addon.

I couldn't find the cause for error because I didn't receive any errors but according to error that [FG]King wrote made few changes that should perform an extra check to make sure that all received data is correct.

To avoid future errors, make sure that there is only one "Simon Game" spawned.

Hey, King, it's been a long time since I released this one and currently I don't have "quick" access to addon's source files. The quick and most logical atm fix would be disabling the addon, however I might look in to it in near future but can't promise specific date.

I guess you're subsribed to this thread so when the update gets live I'll let everyone know in comments.

It's high-intellect requiring game that leverages very complex system of random patterns, thus if you find yourself wondering what it is, I highly doubt that you meet minimum requirement for this game so, for start, I recommend to you coloring books, when your competence level reaches fluffy toys and your logical understanding reaches minimum level you can give this game a shot, just don't be harsh on yourself if first levels seems too difficult with time you will get better.

P.S. minimum level of logical understanding - smart enought to not poop your pants.
