All Slimes in Slime Rancher.. How to find and care for all Slimes. [OUTDATED]

For the people who are just too lazy to figure out this stuff or just simply going to the wiki.

Le introduction.

This guide is for the people who can't do the easiest of simply pressing WASD, so I'm going to tell you where and how to find slimes.(Even hybrids) because I took the time and found them myself c:.

If any steam moderator feels that this violates any steam rights please just tell me with verfication and I'll remove it gladly.

Taking care of le slimes

We all know that you can't just find them and leave them unattended. You need to take care of them so they poop out le plorts and make you money to take care of even more slimes :3

First off you need

• Corral/Pond/Prison
  
• Food, tons of it (Type varies on slime)
  
• [For water slimes only] Water
  
• Plantations to grow more food for your slimes

How to take care of le slimes.
First you find some that can fit into your little vaccum, then you throw them into your corral/pond. Throw too many they'll get out. Throw the right amount they somehow sitll get out. (That's why I reccomend upgrading to higher walls.) Then, you stare at the slimes like the evil man you are encaging them and look at the top right hand corner. The top right hand corner shows what they eat. I'm about to tell you which food category contains which food.
Vegetables

• Carrots
  
• Heart Beet
  
• Oca Oca

Fruits

• Pogo Fruit
  
• Cube Fruit(? is that what it's called?)
  
• Mint mango.

Meat

• Rooster
  
• Elder Rooster
  
• Hen Hen
  
• Elder Hen
  
• Stone Hen
  
• Briarer Hen

The meat section despite having more variety, it ussualy runs out faster for me then food.
After you retain an unlimted supply for feeding le slimes you must feed them and continue feeding them and congrats, you cared enough to feed the slimes you imprisoned.
Do note some slimes need special habitats.
Like the Phosphor Slime requires a corral to have the Solar sheild (and an air net is reccomended but not actually required because the solar shield covers the top, but they'll ussualy fly out if there's no air net.)
The puddle slime requires a pond and the pond needs to be refilled with water every now and then. Note that only 4 or less puddle slimes can live together or else they won't make plorts.

Pink slime

Are you serious? JUST WALK OUT AND YOU FIND THEM EVERYWHERE!?!? WHY ARE YOU READING THIS?
I think there's about like 5 that spawn in your ranch the very first time you spawn there.
Their requirements of a habitat are

• Any food
  
• A corral

Nothing special since these are like your first slime.
They look like this though
They have no favorite foods.

Tabby slime :3

It's the thumbnail of this guide
You can find it about anywhere execpt for right outside your ranch.
Its requirements are

• A corral
  
• Meat (Rooster, Elder rooster, Hen Hen, Elder Hen, Stony Hen, Briar Hen)
  
• [recommended] High walls on corral

They should look something like this.
Their favorite food is the stoney hen which can be found in the area before the bridge that leads to the moss blanket.
Their favorite food looks like this

Rock slime

The rock slime appear in the area that comes after the area outside your ranch. Wow I'm so good at describing areas. It's called the dry reef? They can be found from that area and any place forward (Like the moss blanket or the indigo quarry).
Their requirements are.

• A corral
  
• Vegetables
  
• [recommended] High walls

He should look like this.
His favorite food being the heart beet by ducking left off the cliff multiple times until they find the sea path which leads to a bunch of rocks and one patch of heart beet to the left. Note: Tons of agressive Pink-Rock slime hybrids will come out of the rocks and attack you for them (well they already naturally attack you so then again..)
Their favorite food looks like this.

Phosphor Slime

These guys can be found anywhere a pink slime is found , but they can only be found at night. Note:They will disappaer when exposed to sunlight.
Their requirements of a home are.

• Solar shield (With execption that the corral is inside the grotto which can be unlocked for coins)
  
• High walls (It is actually required or else they'll just float out)
  
• [optional] Air net (So they don't just float out on their own.
  
• Fruit

These guy's favorite favorite food are the cube fruit or whatever you call them. Which can be found on the tree that you find right before the bridge or can be found laying on the floor of the stone part that leads to the 2nd part of the bridge(I am so good at directions). Do note if you attempt to go for the ones at ground at night hostile PhosphorPink slime largos will come and attack you for those fruits so beware!

Their favorite food looks like this

Honey Slime

These guys can be found in the moss blanket(The jungle place) but the moss blanket requires a key which can be obtained by either feeding the Pink slime gordo til it blows up (Which can be found to the left in the ocean) or feeding the phospher gordo in the cave (Which can be found to the left near the ocean edge on the path where you can find heart beet) until it explodes. These guys are often people's favorites to make money with. Their favorite food is scattered everywhere in the moss blanket and these guys are completley harmless. Their requirements are.

• Fruit
  
• [optional] High walls

Their favorite food is the mint mango which I said can be found litterly scattered everywhere above.

Boom slime

These little fellas like to blow up on you at times when they've finished recharging. They can be found in any place that requires a slime key to get to. Only a fool would breed this with a rock slime. *shudders* their requirements are.

• Meat
  
• Higher Walls
  
• Net

Without these they would simply just blow up and out of the corral even with higher walls at times if there are enough or enough hybrids.
They look something like this.
Also their favorite food is the briar hen which can be found in any chicken spawning area in the moss blanket alongside stone hen and roosters. It looks something like this.

Puddle slimes

Puddle slimes similar to the boom slime can only be obtained in areas that require a slime key with one catch though, they are found in water. These guys are scared of other slimes, even their own species(That's actually kind of sad) so no more than 4 can live in the same area with eachother or else they won't make any plorts(They'll still eat the water though.) These guys are decently hard to get because there was only about 1 every trip I made to go get some. Only if these guys had eyes they'd be more adorable. You don't need to worry about them escaping because unlike the phosphler slime they are smart enough to know that escaping would kill them. Not to mention you don't need to manually feed them, just fill in the water every now and then and they feed themselves.
Their requirements are.

• Pond (Must be refilled every now and then)
  
• Water

They should look like this.
Note they shouldn't have eyes and have no favorite food.(These guys are lacking a lot of normal things.)

Rad Slime

Rad slimes can be found in the indigo quarry which requires aslime key to get to. These tricky little fellas radiate you (Hence RAD slime). But no problem! You can feed them from afar or just splash water on them which for a short period of times minimizes their radataion area to nothing.
Their requirements are

• Vegetables
  
• [optional] High walls

Their favorite food is Oca Oca (Or is it Ocra Ocra IDK) which can be found throughout the indigo quarry.

Hunter slime

Bassicly yet another version of the tabby :slimetabby:
He's like found in the moss blanket at night it's been a while since I worked on guides and my will power to format them has been zapped out of me so I'm just going to show you a picture of it and its favorite food.

and like use high walls since they can get out but probably not as easily as a largo or boom slime
Favorite food is rooster

Crystal Slime

These guys can be found in the indigo quarry.
Note:They will hurt you
Their requirements of a home are.

• Generic corral
  
• [optional]High walls (It is actually required or else they'll just float out)
  
• [optional] Air net (So they don't just float out on their own.
  
• Veggies

I don't know what to type but they do leave some weird crystal poop patches that can hurt you. It's been like 10 months since the last time i even glanced at this thing so yeah. These guys look and act like the rock slimes (execpt for the fact they leave giant crystal patches). They however, in my opinion, look way more awesome as you can see their shiny exteroirs.

Largo Slimes

Largo slimes can be found naturally anywhere there are 2 or more species of slime. I think the only Largo slime that can not be found naturally is the Honey-Rad because the honey slime is only in the moss blanket and the Rad slime is only in the indigo quarry. Largo slimes can not fit inside your pack so you must suck them in and bring them all the way home and plop them in.
Their requirements to live properly without escaping:

• Their respective diet
  
• High walls
  
• Air net
  
• (For Phosphor) Solar shield.

Only the following slimes may have hybrids with eachother.
Pink,Tabby,Rock,Phospher,Honey,Boom, and Rad. (Now hunter too..wooo....)
A largo can be made any time by feeding a slime a rad that is not its species'. Feeding it 2 will turn it into a tarr and causing a zombie breakout to occur. If not killed quickly.
Their favorite food is both of the slime's species' favorite food combined.
(For ex: Honey-Rad's Favorite would be Mint Mango and Oca Oca, honey's favorite being mint mango, and the rad species' favorite being Oca Oca)
Same goes for their diet.
(For ex:Rock-Boom's Diet would be vegetables and meat, the rock's species having a diet of vegetables and the Booms having a diet of meat.)

[UNTAMABLE]Gordo Slimes.

In order to obtain all of the gordo's slimes loot you must feed them lots of food from their diet to blow up. (Which food going with witch category is at the top of this guide)
Pink Gordo
Go to le secret bridge off to the ocean to the left of the area outside your ranch.
Drops slime key.
Phosphor Gordo
Can be found by finding the path near the ocean (you kidna have to jump over the wall which is kinda risky knowing that you might fall into the ocean if you don't jump over the right place) that leads into a cave where he rests.
Drops slime key.
Tabby Gordo
Go to the first bridge leading to the Moss Blanket and turn around.
Sets teleportation to overgrowth and back.
Rock Gordo #1
Can be found in the cave after the first section.
Sets teleportation to the grotto and back.
Rock Gordo #2
Can be found in the back of the mountain where you first encounter Rad slimes(After the broken bridge)
When fed it explodes into 3 gold slimes so get ready.
Rad Gordo
Can be found in the last section of indigo quarry at the very bottom in a cave. (Just look around at the bottom for it instead of going up the path.)

Tabby Gordo #2
Found at entrance of glass dessert
Honey Gordo
Found in moss blanket

None of these slimes can be tamed to be yours or created. R.I.P
Sorry if my directions are not clear it's been a while since I played the game I got so bored that I decided to make a guide of it. Bordem man.

[UNTAMABLE]Tarr Slimes

They can easily be found anywhere where there are 3 or more species in one area. They are like zombies, whenever they consume another slime they will turn it into one of themselves. The best way for eradicating these guys is by throwing water at them.
Their requirements are

• None, you can't live with them. THEY WILL BREAK OUT. No matter what.

They look like this.
They have no favorite food.

[UNTAMABLE]Gold Slime

The gold slime is a rare and cute little slime that runs away from you and is impossible to catch. It spawns anywhere a gold slime spawns. The second you see it shoot anything you have at it even plorts until it poops out the vauable gold plorts.
Their requirements are.

• None, you can't tame them.

They look like this
They have no known favorite foods.

[UNTAMABLE]Lucky Slime.

Functions the same way as the Gold slime execpt it only eats meat, and its loot isin't as vuable as one of a gold slime but they are pretty cute and you know that they are coming from that loud clinging noise they make.
Their requirements are:

• None, you can't tame them.

They look like this.
No known favorite foods

There now you can take care of all the adorable slimes.

Sorry if how to find them was not clear considering it's morning and I'm not just thinking right. I hope this guide helped you not only find , but take care of the special ones that have extra requirements. Like phosphate, needing solar shield, Boom needing higher walls , Pool needing a pond and not a corral. I also hope this helps you find Gordos, gold , and lucky slimes. A tarr slime is listed in there but I don't understand why you would want to find one of those.

I've been hunting for a lucky slime. Had no meat on me with a full inventory of veg and they spawned like crazy. Now that it's reversed and I have gold slimes spawning left and right and no lucky slimes.
