WAR: Named Weapons Improved and Two-Handed! (a Weapons, Armor and Robes mod)

Description
Makes named weapons two-handed, and gives them new enchantments and better stats!
This mod is for players who believe that since the gods gave you two hands, you should use them both for your weapon! Just subscribe to this mod and transform all those one-handed named weapons you've collected into two-handed versions you can actually use, as the Nine Divines (or Eight if you prefer) intended!

❖ One-Handed Version of This Mod
If your character prefers one-handed weapons, a version of the mod that changes the named two-handed weapons into one-handed versions with better enchantments is here: WAR: Unique One-Handed Weapons. If this mod does well, I might make other WAR (Weapons Armor and Robes) mods. So please consider rating it and adding it as a favorite, even if you don't want to subscribe now, and follow us on Steam to get notified when mods are released.

HOW IT WORKS

The mod improves the unique (named) weapons of the game by enhancing their stats, adding new enchantments, and changing one-handed ones into two-handed versions. One example: The new Ghostaxe battleaxe has a chance to make creatures of any level flee in terror! Some weapons have all-new models, such as Chillrend, Dawnbreaker, the Nightingale Blade and Windshear. It doesn't change the game IDs for any weapons needed to get the Steam Daedric Walker achievement. It does make many weapons leveled, so iron or steel weapons might now be glass or ebony, if you get them after you reach a higher level.

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

Q. Who's the mod for?
A. Anyone who wants to deal real damage with unique two-handed weapons!

Q. What will the mod do?
A. Besides making the unique weapons of the game two-handed, it (1) adds all new models, (2) adds new enchantments never seen in the game to some, (3) adds more or improved enchantments to others, (4) levels the several of them, so you get better weapons as your character levels up, and (5) lets you temper or disenchant more weapons.

Q. What are the enchantments for each?
A. Same as in the one-handed version: Enchantments and Enhancements of the New Weapons. These include (1) an enchantment that makes foes drop their shields and fall to the ground, (2) an enchantments that disarms foes, (3) enchantments that do extra damage to specific creatures, (4) new fear enchantments that have a percent chance to work on creatures no matter how high their level!

Q. What are the stats for the new weapons?
A. They'll be explained in a discussion page I'll be adding soon.

Q. Do the weapons get better as I level up?
A. Yes! Several that weren't leveled before are leveled with this mod. So if you start the quest to obtain them or locate them after you reach a higher level, you'll get better weapons, which do more damage and have stronger enchantments.

Q. What about named weapons I already have?
A. They'll be improved, too!

Q. Why aren't the Daedric Quest weapons leveled?
A. To keep their base IDs unchanged, so you can get the Steam achievement Daedric Walker.

Q. Can I improve them at a grinding wheel?
A. Yes, you can temper even more of them than in the vanilla game.

Q. Can I disenchant them, too?
A. Yes, you can disenchant more of them than in the vanilla game.

Q. What will happen if I unsubscribe?
A. Most weapons will return to what they were before, including all Daedric Quest weapons. Any weapons you got prior to adding the mod will also return to what they were. Some weapons (those not leveled in the vanilla game but leveled by the mod) will be removed, but you can get these using the command console (just ask me how).

Dawnbreaker still functions as a 1-handed weapon but has the 2-handed model still placed on my back. It's like holding an invisible sword with a bigger sword just kinda there.

FYI for people considering download - Caused repeated crashes without other mods for me. Tested extensively. Good luck if you decide to try it. Remember to back up.

@Wubalubadubdub,

Try using the software called 'Skyrim Save Cleaner' (You can get it from the nexus).
Run the program and search for dawnbreaker. If you find an entry try cleaning it. It may be that the game has saved the property that it's two-handed in your savegame.
Remember backing your saves up before doing this since you can mess up a lot of things with this! =D

Wubaluba: Are you using another mod manager besides Steam?
Dr. Gears Nov 10, 2016 @ 4:14am
I tried I still have it as a greatsword I even tried giving it to myself again

Wubalub: Steam doesn't always sub or unsub on the first try, and it must be online. Restart Steam. Choose Go Online. Wait for the Download progress bar to finish. Start Skyrim. Wait for the Finish SynchingMods message. Select Play. If that doesn't work, save, exit Skyrim to the desktop, then launch Skyrim and load the save you made.
