CHKN Begginer Guide!

Hello! This guide is for people, who just began adventure mode. I'm gonna show you, how to start!

The First Day

Durning it, best way to begin is grab some food, cut some wood and start building an shelter. Starting Area should have alot of melons and palms growing around. So, Grab some sticks, harvest some melons and cut down a tree! Start with palm trees. It takes 5
hits to cut them down. After you got some trunks, you can craft Logs from them. Logs are one of most useful items in the game.

Bulding a Shelter

First of all, you must craft logs. Press "I" to open inventory and crafting window. After it, you can craft logs. Then, you must craft CRAFTING TABLE, in order to build your shelter. To build it, simply create Floor, Walls and Roof, using logs. YOU decide how big your shelter is. There's no limit. Of course, shelter doesn't need to be made from wood. You can use Stone, or Lime Stone. It will be fire-proof and more resistant, but will take bit longer.

Gearing Up

Sticks aren't good axe. Right? There's way to make woodcutting faster - craft an Iron Hatchet! You'll need: 1 Log, 1 Iron Ore and a Crafting Table. To get iron ore, find black rock somewhere and just smash it with stick. You're almost ready! Now, just craft an Slingshot. It's made from Vine, Log and Sap. Requires also crafting table. Don't forget to create ammunition! It's crafted from stones - 1 stone = 12 slingshot ammo. Made in crafting table. To get stone just find normal rock. STONE. DON'T BE CONFUSED WITH LIME STONE.

Hunting

Shelter built, you already own weapons... Now, it's time to strike! The first creature you should see, is one-leg chicken. It will die in 2-3 hits from hatchet. It's one of weakest creatures in game.

Farming and Food

So, you should get Chicken Body from those creatures. You must create Campfire or Furnance - Campfire - 4 Stones 4 Logs, Furnance = 9 Stones. Both are made without crafting table. Now, you can make an Hamburger! You don't need to eat just vegetables. You can also cook Melon! Of course, there won't always be so much creatures. You can make Fence from logs to farm them! Just scare them so they'll just run into it! Now wait for them to lay eggs. More creatures will hatch, and some will die because they're old.

Making an Creature

Most of you waited for that moment. Killing creatures or smashing eggs grants you Lifeblocks. They're very important. Just left click holding one, and you can build creatures like structures. There's another way too! You can tame wild creatures, by throwing them food. Best way is to feed a small chicken with apples or melon, then just right click on it with NOTHING HELD to pet it, and then you can edit it! Note: After making completley new creature from scrath, it WON'T be tamed. You need to tame it.

Evolving and hunting with your creature

Tamed creature will defend you, and let you edit it. You can edit it Anywhere, Anytime. If your creature seems weak, add it lifeblocks! Some will make it faster, other stronger and Maybe later - LET IT FLY (IT'S NOT YET RELEASED)! So, now you can hunt with your creature to make it stronger and then survive!

Planting

You can craft seeds from vegetables. To plant them, simply hold an stick, log or hatched and hit ground with it. Dirt should get dark. Then step on it and use seeds to plant one! Now they're planted, and will grow so you can harvest them.

Advance

Advance lets you get in Endgame stage. This is how i see that stage: Creature is most powerful in the map. You own more than one shelter, every is huge. You own a large vegetable and meat farm. You own Tools, such as Hatchet, Slingshot or even Blowpipe. So... What's now? YOU WAIT FOR UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, step 2: Smash iron with a stick. Yeah, that's a no go. Can't be done.

I'll make a guide worth reading later later, but I'm still trying to find a better way to do boss battles. Give it a few days.
