Description
Based on the wonderful work of Frankenchuby, the original For The Glory of Your Waifu!

This mod changes all country flags with waifus as per the original mod and is identical with the original except for flags introduced by the newer game versions.

Here[docs.google.com] is a list of countries and their corresponding waifus (only the ones I added). Check here for the originals.


Note of fairness: this mod is based on the work of Frankenchuby and once he updates the original I will deprecate this mod in favor of a new one that contains only my edits.
However as of right now the only non techie way to have his mod work on the current version is through this one.

I am merely doing this to help the fans of the original mod.

Yes I had to remove it. Basically all the custom icons are one big image, and that image can change with updates.
The problem is that if Paradox changes that image it can break the game.
Normal flags have their own files and the worst case is that an update doesn't have anime flags.
With custom flags it can crash the game since it tries to reference a nonexistent icon index within the big image.
If I get the time I will split it off into it's own separate mod so that you can disable it easier when a new version breaks it.

The custom nation flag emblems don't seem to work as of the current game version

I have had so little time, even to watch the new stuff. This game...doesn't exactly help with that. Last I watched was Gwitch...and I haven't even finished the first half.

Heh, I know the feeling. 2 dayjobs and weekend consulting. Still one must have their priorities straight: waifus first :D

Also there is a LOT of waifu material out there, sad that we only got 4 tags. I don't want to put Ai from Oshi no ko on rebel flags :( , then there is Danmachi that I just recently caught up on.
Eminence in Shadow, Hikari no ou, Chainsaw man, Bocchi the Rock, Tensei shitara Ken, Akiba Maid War... the list goes on. So many good waifus, so few tags.

Oh, wow. That's more than I thought(also just straight up forgot about EIC completely even with it being a big deal).

Hope I didn't seem pushy, I get being busy coming off busy season at work while doing Grad School. Thanks for all of this, I do enjoy the mod!

So it turns out there are (compared to 1.32):
4 new tags: AngevinEmpire, East India Company, Latin Empire, Latgalia
2 new loading screens
16 rebels flags

I fixed the 4 new tag flags, the rest will have to wait. Also found out that some flags (like Revolutionary France) are not images but generated with the custom flag designer so I cannot mod them.

Yes, I was just a bit busy. I'll have to fill some pre-domination missing flags (some livonian tag) and loading screens too.

Just wondering if there will be an update for Domination...though I suppose off the top of my head its only the Angevin tag that was added.

I saw you updated, but there is no Waifu for Zimbabwe when I formed it! They made it similar to Siam in that you have to complete part of the mission tree for Mutapa to form it.
