Really sorry for the late reply, I somehow unchecked the "Subscribe to thread" button and missed it when it was posted.
So first things first, once the mod is downloaded, make sure you activated it in the Stellaris launcher by clicking on it. A green highlight will tell you it is activated.
Then, in-game, this mod does not deactivate the original soundtrack so the first song you hear, the "main theme", will always be the same (either the default vanilla one, or the Leviathans main theme, if you own it). Then the game will select songs at random between its original soundtrack and any music mods you may have installed, so it may take several minutes for you to first hear a Solaris song.

I didn't even know that movie existed. :) I'll listen to its soundtrack and see if I like it enough to turn it into a mod. No promises (as usual), but thanks for making me discover that movie. It looks kinda cool!
