@doktor well the problem is that it changes the game version so people can't join servers. a few times some of my friends can then others can't. this is mainly due to out dated mods.

i dont think this really needs to be updated, its just flags

It has nothing to do with the dialog Arakthor. I'm talking about what bblackberry said. I know how to update my own mods lol.

Go to Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod, find the file ugc_682165224.mod, open in some text editor, change the line:

supported_version="2.1.*"

To

supported_version="2.2.*"

It is now fully 2.2.x compliant without the warning.

What, 5-10 seconds tops to click the dialogue box when you load the game? Clearly your time is far more valuable than mine.

You failed to make a point there Arakhor. I know how to find out what mods are compatible, but I also know that it's useful for everybody when compatibility settings are kept up to date.

If you cared so much about time efficiency, anyway, you'd realize that it would save dozens of people time if the OP bothered to update a file and reupload.

People have time to post in the comments section, but they *don't* have time to read the comments literally right in front of them whilst they're doing that? That is a very specific amount of time.

MR.BQQ it's very simple: not everyone has hours to read through comments or the technical knowledge to know which mods are safe and which ones aren't. The compatibility system is precisely meant so everyone knows for sure that something has been ok'd by the author.
