How To Install Mods

A quick and simple tutorial on how to install mods for Parkitect!

Introduction

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to show you how to install community mods for Parkitect. You will have cool new abilities in no time!

Step 1: Install ParkitectNexus Client

To begin with, you need to install the modding software called ParkitectNexus. To do this, simply visit their website [click here][parkitectnexus.com]. From there, navigate to the 'Client' tab at the top.

Click the 'Download ParkitectNexus Client' button, or if you're on Mac, click 'Or download the OSX variant'. It is a relatively easy install, and you do not need to worry about viruses!

Step 2: Find and Install the Mod

Back on the website[parkitectnexus.com], navigate to the 'Mods' tab. From there, select whatever mod you want. For this example, I'm going to be using the 'Nexus Ingame Uploader' mod by LuukHolleman[parkitectnexus.com].



On the mod's page, click 'Install with ParkitectNexus Client' on the left. Your browser may ask you if you wish to switch programs. Click yes, launch, or whatever it says to accept the switch.

The client will open and automatically start installing the mod. Give it a few seconds and it will be done!

Step 3: Find the Mod In-game

Now close the ParkitectNexus Client. You are done! Simply open Parkitect whichever way you normally do. Once in-game, click Options > Mods. The mod(s) should show up there!
