Campaign Chapters

Achievements from Campaign

Ascension - Finish the Prologue

Just like it says - finish the three Prologue Missions

Hand of Darkness - Finish Chapter 1

Acquired when Capter 1 ends.

The Eye of Night - Finish Chapter 2

Comes right after Chapter 2.

Surprise attack - Finish Chapter 3

When Chapter 3 comes to an end.

12th Black Crusade - Finish Chapter 4

Battle on and get a medal right before the last Chapter starts.

The Imperium Resurgent - Finish Chapter 5

Congratulations on finishing the campaign! Now go test your mettle against humans.

High Admiral Spire - Reach the maximal admiral level in campaign mode

Play like a Sir and get promoted to level 8.

Successful Missions

Hoarder - Do not let the enemy aquire the Artifacts

Win the Hand of Darkness, Eye of Night and escort missions. Make sure that Abbadon has something to be angry about.

Old but Gold - Don't lose an estimed officer

Drakki get all the credit for this one:

Turn 19, you have a scripted battle with a Black Stone Fortress and your "estimed" officer Vandez. The blackstone fortress must win, but Vandez must stay alive. Yes, you have to FAIL the mission to get the achivement (If you win, Vandez says he will go warn other sector and gets killed).

Then at the battle of Gethsemane with Ravensbrug, our "estimed" officer Vandez and the Abridal, you have to keep Vandez alive (He has some suicidal tendencies)

Last but not least: The Final battle, joined by Ravensburg, possibly the Eldar prince and Valdez! Destroy the Planetkiller before Vandez (and the others most likely) gets him self killed on some carnage cruiser or minefield.

Favors

When Favors are introduced in chapter 3

Testament of Faith - Win an alliance mission with the Inquisition

Win a mission in a system which has Inquisitorial Bastion.

Machine Spirit - Win an alliance mission with the Adeptus Mechanicus

Win a mission in a system which has Omnissiah Temple.

And they shall know no fear - Win an alliance mission with the Space Marines

Win a mission which has Space Marine Allies included - usually 300 pts missions as they get 300 pts. (remember to use the priority system)

Warfleet Obscurus - Win an alliance mission with the Imperial Navy

Win a mission which has Imperial Navy Allies included - usually 300 pts missions as they get 300 pts. (remember to use the priority system)

Purge the Unclean - Get rid of the heresy in a most definitive manner

Nothing like Exterminatus in the morning, just let the Inquisition finish one planet after it has been marked for Exterminatus then load again (or just continue like nothing happened).

Epic Chaos Ships

Achievements from destroying That Vessel after the Warpstorm surge

Thirst of Blood - Destroy the "Eternity of pain"

When the mission pops up during normal campaign play you get to pitch your fleet against That Special Barbarian Vessel and if you destroy it you get a medal.

Herald of Pleasure - Destroy the "Torment"

When the mission pops up during normal campaign play you get to pitch your fleet against That Special Fetish Vessel and if you destroy it you get a medal.

Fighting the Death Guard - Destroy the "Terminus Est"

When the mission pops up during normal campaign play you get to pitch your fleet against That Special Putrid Vessel and if you destroy it you get a medal.

Winds of Change - Destroy the "Sword of Sacrilege"

When the mission pops up during campaign play in chapter 5 you get to pitch your fleet against That Special "Magic" Vessel and if you destroy it you get a medal.

No-Mesis - Hidden Achievement

Destroy/Purge three out of four of the Nemeses ships "Terminus Est.", "Torment", "Eternity of Pain" and "Sword of Sacrilege" before Chapter 5 begins, the achievement kicks in at the end of turn.

Turn of Eldar events

Unexpected Allies - Find unexpected help to win the war

Ally with the Eldar after turn 19. The Achievement ticks in on turn 21.

Stare into the abyss - Attract unwanted attention - Achievement Removed

Be like David and Taunt Goliath except that this time he is a Planet-Killer. This can be done in Webway mission on turn 23. [Achievement removed as taunt is no longer an option]

Burn the Heretic - Right your wrongs

First you have to save the accused Heretic admiral from the Eldar attack (specific event) then you have to Burn the Heretic (Destroy) later on when he shows up again (specific event). The Eldar heretic warning event happens first at turn 21.

Shared secrets - Be sure to keep any advantage possible

Save the Webway and get a bonus deployment each turn. Mission appears on turn 23.

Heirless Throne - Hidden Achievement

Kill the Eldar Prince/ss Eldrathain - dont ally with them (obviously) and then hunt them down.

Ordo Xeno: Greenskins tide - Hidden Achievement

Fight the Orks in a series of missions that ends with you destroying the Kollossus Ork Space Hulk.

Ordo Xeno: Eldar's Fate - Hidden Achievement

Dont trust them, dont ally and kill them all. Fight the Eldar in series of specific missions to run them away from the sector (Kill the Alien).

Light Cruiser Veterancy - Have a Level 10 Light Cruiser Captain

Can be done in the campaign or any other game mode.

Cruiser Veterancy - Have a Level 10 Cruiser Captain

Can be done in the campaign or any other game mode.

Battle Cruiser Veterancy - Have a Level 10 Battle Cruiser Captain

Can be done in the campaign or any other game mode.

Battleship Veterancy - Have a Level 10 Battleship Captain

Can be done in the campaign or any other game mode.

Admirals

High Lord Admiral - Have a Level 8 Imperium Admiral in any game mode

Can be done in the campaign or any other game mode.

Chosen Warmaster - Have a Level 8 Chaos Admiral in any game mode

Can be done in any other game mode except the campaign.

Crowned Prince - Have a Level 8 Eldar Admiral in any game mode

Can be done in any other game mode except the campaign.

I'm da Kaptin now - Have a Level 8 Ork Admiral in any game mode

By the blood of Sanguinius - Reach level 8 admiral with a Blood Angels Fleet

Primarch-Progenitor, to your glory and the glory of Him on earth - Reach level 8 admiral with an Imperial Fists Fleet

Best of the Emperor - Reach level 8 admiral with all the Space Marines Chapters

Space Marine Masters

Chapter Command - Have all the Masters in a single Space Marines Fleet

As it says on the box - Have all different masters/favors in the same fleet - Chapter Master - Master of the Forge - Chief Librarian - Master of Sanctity.

Elite Levels

Elite Level Ups

Elite Admiral - Reach Rank 1 in Elite Mode

When you have reached level 8 as an admiral in skirmish games you can activate the "Elite" mode on the right side in the shipyard. Gives you progressively harder battles with Boss battles to mix. "Each successful Elite Skirmish battle will increase your Elite rank by 1. Losing a battle will not decrease your rank" - saberwyn

Elite Encounter - Reach Rank 10 in Elite Mode

Elite Veteran - Reach Rank 30 in Elite Mode

Elite Hero - Reach Rank 60 in Elite Mode

Elite Tactician - Reach Rank 100 in Elite Mode

If you complete this to level 100 you derserve a Tactica Imperialis Medal for dedicated effort!

Tau Update Achievements

Tau Update Achievements

They all start hidden with no information

Admiral of the Farsight Enclaves - You have to win a game versus a Tau Fleet while playing with a Tau Admiral. Tau vs Tau fight, one of them gets it. *Does not work in a Custom game -observation by saberwyn


Master of the Kauyon Warfare - Ten victories using Kauyon Warfare. (Anyone see a Kaiju reference?)


Master of the Mont'Ka Warfare - Ten Victories using Mont'Ka Warfare.



Fight for the Greater Good - You know, the usual, get your admiral to level 8.



To Unite the Stars - Level up Auxilliary ship to maxiumum level. (That's a grind)

A few observations:
* It took me 45 battles in Skirmish to level a battleship or a Tau auxiliary captain to level 10. You can look at the "Battles Waged" stat, but this resets every time the ship is destroyed.
* "Admiral of the Farsight Enclaves" did not work when set up as a Custom Game, had to earn it via Skirmish
* Each successful Elite Skirmish battle will increase your Elite rank by 1. Losing a battle will not decrease your rank

Is it possible to get "old but gold" achievement by capitulation at turn 19 mission and then according to your tactics? I passed the campaign twice on different difficulties but still can't get the achievement. Vandez is a very heroic person
