I can say 1 thing though.The Factions are completely broken(overpowered)
As for thoraxes, yes they lose 1x1 to kartli but kartli and parthian swords fears cav due their lower mass and health so you always need to protect them while thoraxes can be used more careless that is why i like them better.
People tend to rank units only based on 1x1 results while in battle there are other factors like cav charges (mass of unit), projectiles (missle block chance, armour, health), ability to hold against better counter-parts (even if unit A wins unit B it does not meaen it will hold longer against elite).
