Dwarven Heavy Bolt

Description
A simple mod adding the heavy bolt ability to dwarven Crossbowmen. This is a short range, harder hitting version of the regular bolt, designed to give the unit a little bit more bite.

You should be able to mod all of what you asked, just play around with the fire musket ability.

2/ I don't know how the mod affects the balance, however I wonder if you could add a reload condition on this new heavy bolt attack, making for a heavier effort to crank the weapon, and turning the crossbow into a short-range musquet. Speaking about musket, what about adding its staggering/hampering effect to this heavy bolt attack?
Ideally, the soldier would use the normal bolt attack until he decides to spend a full round to load the heavy bolt. Once done, the normal attack wouldn't be possible anymore until the heavy bolt is discharged (or a full round is spend to unload). This would more realistic and perhaps less balance impacting, but is this moddable?

1/ Just to let you know, I translated the two xml entries consistantly with the other crossbow attacks:
compare with (in Abilities.xml):
ACTIVE_ABILITY_RANGED SHOOT_LIGHT_CROSSBOW_NAME "Shoot Light Crossbow"
ACTIVE_ABILITY_RANGED SHOOT_HEAVY_CROSSBOW_NAME "Shoot Heavy Crossbow"
ACTIVE_ABILITY_RANGED SHOOT_CROSSBOW_DESCRIPTION "Shoots bolts at target enemy unit."

hence (translating back to English):
DWARVEN_HEAVY_BOLT NAME "Fire Heavy Bolt" -> "Shoot Heavy Crossbow (heavy bolt)" if not too long
DWARVEN_HEAVY_BOLT DESCRIPTION "Fires a Heavy Bolt at short range, dealing {damage}" -> "Shoots a heavy bolt at target enemy unit, dealing devastating damage at short range."

I enjoy this mod, allowing Dwarven crossbowmen to last longer, especially as wall defenders. Now, the Dwarven crossbowman has two like-abilities. Now, he's even more deadly at short range. Although it now looks like the Dwarf is using two crossbows, I don't mind the double entry, as this "dupplicate" attack is only a turn-about to depict the realistic situation where the crossbowman has but one single weapon, only shooting two possible ammunitions.
