Quick Guide: High Lord Wolnir

A quick guide on how to defeat High Lord Wolnir, a main boss in Dark Souls 3

High Lord Wolnir

• Don't get under him, a passive mist will kill you in a matter of seconds
  
• Don't lock on, go for his golden bracelets, after destroying all 3 of them he will die
  
• Watch his hands, they will telegraph his next move
  
• You can block his sword attack, he's not to strong
  
• His main damage is dark so if you can do equip some resistance gear do so
  
• He summons skeletons, I suggest ignoring them and rush for the bracelets, he often kills them himself

  • Weak to blessed weapons
  
  

  Resistant

  • Resistant to dark damage
  
  

  Immune

  • Immune to poison and toxic damage
    
  • Immune to frost damage
    
  • Immune to bleed damage
    
  
  

  Drops

  • Souls: NG (22000), NG+ (86,000), NG+3 (99000)
    
  • Soul of High Lord Wolnir
  
  The soul can be consumed for 10,000 Souls or traded in for either Wolnir's Holy Sword or Black Serpent
