Naming your character in Game of Thrones can mean a lot about who you are. Westeros you have two names.
Bastard Surnames:
Crownlands - Waters
Dorne - Sand
Iron Islands - Pyke
North - Snow
Reach - Flowers
Riverlands - Rivers
Stormlands - Storm
Vale - Stone
Westerlands - Hill
Those born in Essos only have one name.

I suggest you think of yourself as a peasant teenager in this mod. As so you need to work your way up in the world.
You know you can change your name in this mod but you can also update your look as the years go by.
SAIL as much as possible. SAIL THE SEA! Start the missions at Wheeping Town and Old Town.
If you have to travel by land use small movement clicks, never use large movement clicks ever.

During your first year in the game you should join a famous Lord to be trained, paid, fed, and clothed.
Do not join the Northern Lords they don't fight enough, join the Riverlands if you want to be allied.

You will need to get your strength up to 12 for first promotion 14 16 18 and so on. It is a good idea to get some
strength for the higher promotion asap. Each promotion gives you more pay (coins) and training (Experience) per day.

While your in a retinue you have the opportunity to pick up gear off the battlefields. Lords of armies can not
do this. This is the only way to get meny of the special gear in this mod. Also while in a retinue you get to
have the chance to recruit special units not avalable any other way during the game. You can also get special
gear given to you that your unable to buy from markets by getting promotions in the Lords army.

You can also invest your coin at the Iron Bank of Braavos.

After your first year or so in a retinue; I suggest taking the next year in game to complete the storyline missions.

Never go on the common quests or missions in this mod until you have finished the storyline missions.

There are meny more Valyrain swords in this mod that can be gotten through missions and from taking certain
cities. Dawn and Blackfyre can be gotten from taking Starfall and Volantis while having a certain renown and
honor requirements.

Step 1: Complete the few quests at The Wheeping Town and Old Town.
Step 2: Explore the white places, lore sites, for experience and loot.
Step 3: Join a famous lords retinue, try and pick up their valyrian sword.
Step 4: Earn around 10,000 to 15,000 coin from military service to invest.
Step 5: Complete the storyline quests to cause the invasion events.
Step 6: Begin life as a trained, wealthy, and respected man in westeros.

Golden Company - Fighting the Targaryen's - capture them

Hardcore starting goals for this mod:
1. Do not let Kingslanding be lost by the Westerlands.
2. Help the Iron Islands last the test of time.
3. Capture all Kings in the game and recruit them as companions. The kings must be captured and have no lands to be recruited.
4. Capture and recruit all companions in Ramsey Snow's retinues to your army.

Hello, when I download the 2 files (mod and patch) how do I install them? Drag and dropp in the main folder? As it's not a workshop item I am not sure how should I install it... // Should I make a save before I install the mod? // Thank's for the help :)

Responce: Once downloaded, you will take the files out of the ACOK 2.1 patch 1 folder drag and drop these files into the ACOK 2.1 folder, replace and overwrite.
Once done combining the Patch files into the Mod Folder you will open steam library. Right click M&B warband in your steam library, go into properties, local files tab select browse local files, open the modules folder.
C:\Program Files (x##)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules
Lastly drag and drop the ACOK 2.1 folder into the modules folder.
C:\Program Files (x##)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\ACOK 2.1

Responce: There are two ways you can get to be able to recruit Gold Cloaks from Kingslanding both involve being married to the women who owns it.
Way 1: Form a faction that includes Kingslanding not as your capital.
Recruit a female lord to your faction who can be married. Give her the fief Kingslanding to rule. Merry her so you gain access to her garrison, take all the Gold Cloaks from her as she recruits them.
Way 2: Wait for a female lord, whom can be married, to be given the fief Kingslanding. Join her Faction and merry her, once again you gain access to her garrison.

Generic Crusader asks:
How do you steal a lord's valyrian steel sword?

Responce: One can get Valyrian sword 4 ways in this game.
1. Completing missions and obtaining a valyrian sword as a reward.
2. Taking certain cities with required renown and honor stats.
3. Being in a lord's retinue finding a valyrian sword on the battlefield you pickup during the fight before the white text comes up to press tab to leave the battle.
4. Capture someone who owns a valyrian blade. Speak to them while captured, Randyll Tarly has text to steal his sword from him but doing it this way causes you to lose a lot of relation with him.

Hi, quick question: I enlisted in Randyll's Tarly army and saw him go down at least 4-5 times but he has never dropped a named sword (Heartsbane). Can anyone confirm it's possible to pick it from him after he falls? Thanks

Responce: I have had a couple people complain to me about this issue. It does seem you can only pick up these items if you are facing the person in battle or at least not in their retinue. Also I am still not successful in making the cities around volantis wealthy seems extremely hard to do.

There are two more issues I found. When we're defending the city/castle in a siege, attackers only send units to the wall and they get stuck. They do not climb the ladders at all. This way, my 'lord' managed to repel almost a 10x larger army. The bug seems to be quite similar to one that happens on battiefields, altho much more rarely. Both armies get stuck and do not move towards each other at all, so I either have to go there and die or retreat. Any idea how to fix the first and second issue in this post? Thanks for the answers and guide!

Responce: During battle in the field this issue can be resolved by always keeping a couple of the barbers, merchants, scouts, hunters, or priests recruited after you join a retinue. These units can be recruited for you to command while your lord is stopped in a castle or city. Next to the prison guard in castles or in cities next to the shops people or village elder. Send one of these men to charge in and start the battle, once a single person is killed both sides charge. Think of it like the battle at helms deep, someone had to die before they charged, lol. As for the issue during sieges best I could do is give you a list of castles this happens at. Only way I know to solve this it is get yourself killed as fast as possible. So to allows your lord a chance to win the fight.

Well, it seems that all the enterprizes you can buy produce a negative amount, even if the town is not attacked or is rich, the only enterprize that is not negative is brewery, is this just a gltich? i need to make more money as my miltirary carrerr progresses

To be able to recruit lords as vassals to you faction during a war, send your companions out to speak good about you, and send gifts to them. Don't try and recruit lords your at war with, sometimes it is a good option to pay for peace. Holding feasts also helps when not at war.
