Override Named Engram Entries (ALL VANILLA ENGRAMS)
By 𓍊𓋼𓍊 Shroom 𓍊𓋼𓍊
***CONSTANTLY UPDATED - LAST UPDATE 14/05/2016***

Do YOU need help with Engrams and Overriding them? Trying to overide Engrams yourself but too many or it does not work? TRY THIS! A must if your changing mod engrams as a patch made doing single engrams not work any longer. Instead you need to insert EVERY engram... It's all engrams or nothing. Who wants to sit at a pc for 7 hours manually doing it when someone already has (Me XD)

Here is a COMPLETE entry of every vanilla/original engram in level/appearance order according to ark wiki (http://ark.gamepedia.com/Engrams)

You will need these settings added to your Game.ini if you wish to makes changes to ANY engram in regards to changing EP requirement or hiding Vanilla/Original Engrams or Mod Engrams.

How to Override Engrams via Game.ini Ark Survival Evolved
Do YOU need help? Trying to overide Engrams but it does not work? TRY THIS!

Here is a COMPLETE entry of every vanilla/original engram in order according to ark wiki (http://ark.gamepedia.com/Engrams)

You will need these settings added to your Game.ini (NOT GameuserSettings.ini) if you wish to makes changes to ANY engram in regards to changing EP requirement or hiding Vanilla/Original Engrams or Mod Engrams.

You simply CANNOT just alter a single vanilla or modded Engram anymore e.g.
=======================================================

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=true

OverrideNamedEngramEntries=(EngramClassName="EngramEntry_EgyptianVase_C",EngramHidden=false,EngramPointsCost=0,EngramLevelRequirement=5,RemoveEngramPreReq=false)

=======================================================

This simply will not work alone, You cannot modify the engram overrides seperately. You simply change NOTHING or EVERYTHING!

Why? Because as of a update a while back you must enter ALL the default engram entries in addition to any mods you have else they will not show up at all or worse, either way it will not work. By copying this data you will save yourself 7 hours of manually typing of a text document. Readmy instructions below if you are new to editing the Engram Override settings in a Game.ini I will only cover this section and show you how to successfully apply these settings all the way to your dedicated server via FTP (filezilla I use).

1. Log into server and stop the server

2.Wait 3 minutes before making any changes in this time you can do the following

3.Download/open Filezilla FTP and log in using your server host, username,Password and port (These can be found somewhere in server dashboard (I run on Nitrado) press quickconnect to connect.

4.Once connected go into /arkse/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer and find the "Game.ini" file it look like a notepad.

5.Download to your PC it will appear most likely on your desktop or wherever you have set it to save

6.MAKE A BACKUP COPY IF IT DOESNT WORK (It should and does work) and open the original

6. Go to to the VERY BOTTOM of the page at (See botom for current link version) and copy the RAW PASTE DATA

7. Paste all this data into your Game.ini (if the top line [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] is already there in your game.ini then remove my one)

8.Save changes and delete the Game.ini on your FTP, once deleted you can now upload the new version

9.Start server again >>> WINNING :)

I hope this helps at least someone wanting to mod engram overrides. I will do my best to keep this updated to include all vanilla/original engrams, all you need to do is add the modded engrams and make the relevant changes (Cost/Hidden/Prerequisite) etc

This is outdated and you can in fact remove single engrams only. But you need to put them in Game.ini and not GameUserSettings.ini as it's currently stated on the wiki. Here's an example:
bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=false
OverrideNamedEngramEntries=(EngramClassName="EngramEntry_Turret_C",EngramHidden=true)
