Halo Reach: MJOLNIR Armor Variants (Vanilla)

UPDATE: 18/05/2020

Given the long standing issues with the visor color script and other mods I've decided to re-download the XCOM 2 SDK and create a version of this mod that excludes such content (Like the scriptless version but with different default visor colors applied to each helmet).

The list with each helmet's default visor color will be posted soon. I will attempt to see if there's any other parameter I can link the visor color to, to avoid reducing customization options.

UPDATED - 18/12/2017

The UIArmory_Promotion screen now properly shows the visor color for XCOM Soldiers.

I have been unable to find which screenclass to use for cutscenes and the mission intros in the UI Screen Listener, the visor color script for the vanilla version will most likely stay in its current shape.

Warning: This mod's Visor Color script has been reported to be incompatible with the LW Perk Pack by iteration 9, the armor permutations are still usable though.

Thanks to Chewy / Sporksaregoodforyou for creating the Visor Color Menu!

Thanks to those who posted awesome screenshots for me to put as previews!

Acorns, Mr. Bibbles, Wikia, Mr. Hinx, and everyone else who helped making this awesome gallery. Lets keep those screenshots coming!

This mod contains all the MJOLNIR Spartan Armor Variants available in Halo Reach's Multiplayer Armory, including Helmets with their respective Attachments, and even more Visor Colors and Attachments than previously available.

RECOMMENDATION: Create a Vanilla character pool and use that if you wish to avoid having MJOLNIR Armor Sets (Or any DLC Armor Sets) on rookies. Sorry but it's the only way I found to fix this.

Thanks to Nigel Thornberry for his assistance in the beginning with some issues.

By the way if you haven't already, you really should REALLY get these, they're great mods!

FAQ

Q: How do I change the visor color?
A: Go inside the "Props" menu, and if you have selected any of the helmets in this mod you'll get a button on the top left that says "Select Visor Color". Beware, this script does not work in all stages, cutscenes, and/or levels, so you may face some inconsistencies, however the game WILL remember your visor color.

Q: Can I use MJOLNIR Arms/Legs/Decos with any of the vanilla armor?
A: Not really something I'd recommend, the parts in this mod are designed to be used only with one another, you should not use a Standard/Vanilla torso with any of the MJOLNIR Parts. Sorry!

Q: Why does my character have invisible legs? I can't seem to make him have the armor!
A: Did you check that you were using the correct torso? It is all one set, therefore when you use the correct torsos it locks you to use Spartan parts only, unabling you to have "Invisible" Parts.

Q: Can this corrupt my savegame?
A: Well, it's a mod... mods can do weird stuff.

While rigging, material and skeletal conversion, and the mod itself was made by me, ALL Halo Reach Assets were extracted from the game, they were created originally by Bungie/Microsoft and I only intend to make fair use of such assets.

The main issue with this is that the computer makes solders automaticlly and legs and what not will be missing and when you try change it, the option on legs are greyed out it says there is nothing to change it to. This mod is breaking my games as a result.

Can you release a version of this mod with just the ODST helmets and armors? I love your work but I can't use this mod because it makes my game run really really slow

@RobotORobot I see, I didn't remember that. I'll see what I can do about it.

@Eternal Helmets like the Air Assault, CQC, JFO, and Gungnir only have the base helmet. I am wondering if you are planing adding any of variants for them?
