Rent Manpower from your Allies

Description
Did you ever think that it is kind of strange that your allies can't help you with some soldiers, if they are not in a war?
With this mod, it is possible.

You can rent a specific amounf of manpower* from one ally by using the specific diplomatic action (in the alliance actions category). The AI's willingness to accept is show for that action, if they are met, as well as the specific conditions, if they aren't met.

* If your maximum manpower is below 40,000, you can request 5,000 manpower.
* If your maximum manpower is above 40,000, you can request 10,000 manpower.

If it accepts:
- it will lose 5000/10000 manpower
- you will gain 5000/10000 manpower
- your opinion about it +50 & its opinion about you +50

If it denies:
- your opinion about it -25
- you can't ask it again for ~5 years

Only after you've paid back the manpower, you will be able to rent manpower again.

English, French (English language), Spanish (English language) and German localisation included.

Compatibility:
- should be compatible with any mod or dlc
- EU4 Version 1.37

Thank you very much! I wait the next update of Victorum Universalis to try your mod (I think it should be compatible) Can I make a suggestion ? Add this kind of action to "Call to Arms" action: If an ally refuse to join the war, rent/give manpower or money could lower debuff in diplomatic/prestige, what do you think about that ?

Hi, can you make a mod about rent condottieri? I saw omly on estate agenda this code: "sending_condottieri_to_them" and "ROOT = { is_renting_condottieri_to = prev }" but nothing about "send_condottieri" or ask to rent

Can you please make a mod that lets you enforce your dyansty among a nation for peace deals? Lets say im playing as Ming and I invade Korea. Instead of taking things I enforce my dyansty among the nation. It would be amazing if I could because it would be realistic because nations have done it before.

@Dark Templar:
I added the negative opinion, so there is another reason to pay the manpower back apart from not being able to rent manpower again.
But I will think of those suggestions and how I can add them.

I dont think the negative opinion modifier should be there, If He chose to help, then actually That just strenghtens the alliance and the friendship between 2 nations. He should instead get favors with you, maybe 5 favor and the renting nation should get a positive opinion modifier from You, maybe like +25-50, which decays over time. Also, I didnt try out the mod, so I dont know, but I think It would be good, to actually choose an ally and request help from them and They would have the choice to not help, If they are in debt, low on manpower, dont like you that much bla bla.

Late reply, but fair point.

@malhagor:
I don't own Mare Nostrum, so: No.

i'm bad at modding. Could you do a mod that would prevent army renting in mare nostrum ? (kind of almost opposite of this mod but i figured maybe you could do it ...)

@seviro:
As I answered to another comment already, it probably is kind of what is done with mercenaries,
but ingame - at least when playing with Extended Timeline - after ~1700 you don't get any more mercenaries and in the early ages they are very expensive.

Isn't this done with condotteri, though?
