Introduction
I've been really excited ever since I heard that there would be a remastered edition of Day of the Tentacle, it has always been my favorite adventure game of all times, so you can imagine that I was quite hyped when I found out that there would also be achievements in this game. Since there isn't a guide to getting all of them yet, I decided to write one of my own. Any mistakes or inaccuracies are due to stupidity, ignorance or excitement. Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress and contains massive spoilers. So let's get to work!

Achievements collected by simply playing the game
Rap Sheet: Trespasser - Find Fred's basement workshop : Open and enter the clock in the lobby.

Oh Right, I'm Playing a Cartoon!- Make a skunk: Paint some Booboo-B-Gone TM onto the fence in the future to "Pepé Le Pew" yourself a skunk.

Olive Branch - Return the stamp album to Weird Ed : Return the stamp album after Ed throws it at you.

Rap Sheet: Cheat - Disqualify Harold : Use the fake barf with Harold.

Behind Every Great Man Is a Quality Roadie - Red makes a super battery with only a little help from Hoagie: Bring Red Edison all the ingredients for the super battery.

Yesterday's News - Defeat Purple Tentacle yesterday: Finish the game by tricking the slimy purple dude, you know you want to.

"Missable" achievements and stuff you probably have to be lucky to find
Dude, It's Like, Cannibalism -Hoagie eats a Hoagie : While in the past just wait until Hoagie's idle animations reach him eating a nice hoagie.

And Then the Universe Explodes - Try to mix the decaf and caffeinated coffees: Try to use the decaf with the normal coffee.

Mental Patience - Play the whole game without skipping a cutscene Don't be impatient, it's a classic, dudes!

...Take on the Words! - Sit through the end credits: Again, just a little patience, let the end credits have their moment of glory.

And Then the Universe Implodes - Try to mix the disappearing ink with Booboo-B-Gone: Try to use the disappearing ink with the Booboo-B-Gone TM.

Rap Sheet: Fraud - Try to alter the contract with Booboo-B-Gone: Try to use the Booboo-B-Gone TM with the contract.

I'm Sure He'd Never Notice - Try to swap the textbook with the stamp album: Use the textbook with the stamp album while it's lying infront of Weird Ed Edison.

Rap Sheet: Forger - Try to sign the contract yourself with the quill pen: Try to use the gold plated quill pen from the past with the contract.

That Joke Never Gets Old - Squirt five different people with disappearing ink: Use the disappearing ink on 5 different NPCs (Cousin Ted counts!).

You Call That a Hint? - Try to wash the dirty car with the brush: Waste your time by trying to wash the car in the present.

Now You're Pushing It - Try to microwave the hamster again after he's thawed out: Make everybody wonder about your sanity by trying to microwave the hamster again after he is thawed.

Can't Win and Chew Gum at the Same Time - Laverne tries the chattering teeth on her human during the human show: Instead of using the horse teeth on cousin Ed in the future, try the chattering teeth from the present.

That Should Have Worked - Hoagie uses battery with Chron-o-John instead of plug: Instead of connecting the battery to the plug try to use it on the Chron-o-John itself.

Master Plumber - Flush 50 objects through time: Okay this one is/was a bit frustrating if you flush things manuall. Instead of putting things into the Chron-O-John one by one, just pull the items you want to flush onto the portrait of the character you want to flush them to, do this 50 times.

Alas, Our Lazy Speechwriters Didn't Cover This - Talk to Washington, Jefferson, or Hancock while they're outside: Instead of getting the feather as soon as Washington, Jefferson and Hancock jump out of the window visit them near the Chron-o-Johns and try to speak to them.

ESRB Violation - Laverne thinks about eating the cat: After you caught the cat in the future, try to use the fork with/on it.

Music Appreciation Award - Reach yesterday without turning the stereo off: I'm not a hundred percent sure if you have to leave on the stereo in Green Tentacle's room all game or if it is enough to turn it on just before complete all the tasks needed to get Laverne and Hoagie back. I left it on during my second playthrough, just to make sure.

Energy Conscious - Turn off the television: Turn off the Television after seeing the advertising for the diamond.

We're All Brothers - Ask the IRS agents if they're related: After they abduct Dr Fred, talk to the IRS agents in the attic and ask them if they're related.

OCD - Get all other achievements in the game: If you do all of these achievements this one should just pop up with the second to last one, congrats you 100-percented one of my all time favorite games and a must-play classic adventure. Good on you!
Maniac Mansion related achievement
Chef - Cook the hamster in Maniac Mansion (Don't try this at home, kids!): Don't worry, you won't have to play through all of Maniac Mansion to do this (even though you might enjoy it!). You will need to open the microwave oven place the hamster inside, close the door and turn it on. To get the hamster, you need to get past the Green tentacle on floor 2, to do that you need the wax fruits (first floor on the left in a room with painting supplies) and the fruit juices (storage room to the right of the kitchen on the ground floor). Give those to Green Tentacle and he will let you pass. Go up one floor and take the third door you see, you will enter Ed Edison's room. Try to take his hamster, he will take your player into the dungeon, while that is happening switch to another character that you hid near Ed's room and grab the hamster. Finish the poor thing in the kitchen and you'll have your achievement. (If at any time you get caught you can exit the dungeon with one player character as long as you have at least 2 characters in the dungeon: underneath the left most window is a loose stone that you can push with one character and then quickly switch to another standing in front of the exit on the right
Random stuff
I just wanted to thank LucasArts for making one of the most entertianing games of all times (besides all of their other great games) and DoubleFine for showing this gem to at least one if not more new generations. Thanks for reading and I'll just be moseying along now!

adora are you in the room with the sleeping man, not the depressed comedy goods maker?

For the Music Appreciation Award, you don't need to play it throughout the whole game, you can just start playing it before taking back Hoagie and Laverne.
For the Energy Conscious I can't turn the TV off for some reason? It just keeps playing the ad.

Thanks for the guide. I would move WWSCD? to the missable section. You don't have to climb through the chimney with Hoagie to complete the past.

Great guide, but heres a couple of things to update: Dialog Puzzles are hard, can be any solution by asking Dr Fred at the right time - I had a joke about those old record club by mail fleeces. Sign this or renew for another year! Also, I think as Moistly said , that Olive Branch is missable, there's no need to return it to progress.

Thanks for the guide, just one thing... should 'Olive Branch' be in missables?

In the Maniac Mansion Achievemen for nuking the hamster, only certain characters can actually do the deed. I did it with Razor. It looks like Syd is the only other one who can do it.
