How to publish a building to the Workshop
By Osaris Games
Publishing a building to the Steam Workshop is possible from any world where you are in Creative mode.

First, you'll need to make a selection of what you want to publish:
- Press Ctrl + Left Click to start the selection
- Press Ctrl + Left Click again to end the selection
You should now see the borders of the selection on the screen.

Then, use the command /save NAME to save your building.
Then, use the command /publish NAME with the same name to publish your building. You will be able to review everything before it goes public.

Feel free to use the discussion forums if you have any questions!

After the building is loaded, you get a message to enter "control V" to place it.

A light blue preview will appear. Then, hold down the Control key while moving around to get the preview in the proper position.

Details I have discovered

When using the console, the required "/" before the command is pre-filled an does not need to be typed in. Except for saving a building in creative mode. Just typing in the "save" command and name without the "/" gave me a message "server saving" , but no save file was created in the schematics folder.

To get it to save, I had to actually type in the "/" before the command. Then I got the confirmation that it had saved, and the file location.

Also - To paste this building in your game, subscribe then use the command "/load NAME" while in Creative mode

Hi,
You can save again with the same name and it will replace the previous file.
Or you can go in %appdata%/.alchemist/schematics/ and delete files from here.

i have made a few mods and sometimes the save doesnt go well. the item is chopped in half. so i resave and change the spelling or make it a capital instead. i made a well modd and save went bad several times. i tried to name it same thing (well) to see if it would overwrite. it seemed like it did i published it and subscribed and it seems to summon in a far distance like it was the spot i made it at originally. i saved it once again and named it (waterwell). subscribed loaded and now i dont see it at all. my main question is, is there a way to delete these block saves, bad saves so i dont have to rewrite in a different way to save?
