This is my first ever published scripted entity on the workshop. I scripted and modeled the entire thing myself thanks to gmod's wiki and Facepunch community.

NOTE: Out of nearly 2k downloads, two people have had issues with mods interfering with this mod. This is a rather rare issue, but if you cant drive the train, or the wheels dont spawn, try disabling all mods but this one.
If something doesnt work, send an error to me and ill fix it.


First, a breif description of the 0-4-0 locomotive in real life:

The 0-4-0 steam loco(only has four wheels, two exles and they're all powered) are small, and weakish locomotives. THey are hardly seen on the main lines, and in the early 1900's, they didnt have enough speed to be on mainlines(max speed was around 45 MPH, alone.) The 0-4-0 locomotive also had no tender which is because it could easily fill up on coal 200 feet away in a filling location.


In the game, there are some stats.

The max mph is around 40-45 in game, which is rather fast on small maps.
It hauls very little, around 5-13 train cars.
To attach cars to the train, use ropes. I should soon add in automatic coupling like sligwolf has.
The train is compatable with my sliding cars, sligwolfs train cars, and custom made cars. Note that my old traincars are too tall on their base, so their buffers go over the current trojan buffers, this is wrong on the cars parts and I will redo the car mods.

Anything heavy will count as a load, so the more you have the slower the train will go.

To use:

Forward: Your forward bound key.(Default W)
Reverse: Your backwards bound key(Default S)
Whistle: Your move right key(Default D)
Look out cab: Your move left key(Default A)


To get in the cab go to the left side of the train, and press e in the cab, while standing outside.
