Introduction
First, I want to warn you that the present build is a combination of utility and something that I designed just for fun. What does it mean? This means that skills are selected to make a great synergy as counterbalance for using medieval ways of deprivation of life. This means that whilst using weapons to which build has been designed for, you can still have fun killing innocent policemens with a crossbows or rusty greatsword. Additionally if you swap sharpened sticks to something normal like flamethrower or light machine guy, it's suitable even for Death Wish. With crossbows it's still possible to pass some missions at the DW, but you have to be a really good player and good single-shot weapons user.

Build is created in two variants - Paladin and Inquisitor How they differ? You will find answers in the dedicated descriptions of each option

Presented by default this build is Joke build. However, just change weapons and you will get suitable build for DW missions.
Paladin
The first (and my personal favorite) variant of my medieval build is Paladin, which is characterized by the following features:
- Inspiring voice, whose blessed prayers are able to lift the spirits and bodies of every comrade.
- Holy regeneration, every true knight of justice greatest trait. It always accompanies holy warriors, and if the knight shows mercy by taking prisoners, heavens can double that healing gift.
- Proficiency in the art of the crusade, which knight knows both the art of war and as first aid. Because of that, warrior can support his companions by giving them ammunition or medical supplies.

These features makes this build main inspire type, which takes care of his companions, saving them from many of oppressions, proudly pushing hordes of unfaithful at the same time .
Paladin - Skills
MASTERMIND
  • Cable Guy ACE - Allows you to effectively convert more members of the local population
  • Combat Medic basic - Let your word cary both help and punishment.
  • Endurance ACE - Let the light give you strength in fatigue.
  • Control Freak basic - Surrounding aura of your charisma makes villagers not to come in your way.
  • Painkillers ACE - Your inspiring voice carries determination in various forms. Also phisical.
  • Leadership ACE - Stand proudly at the head of your team. May your swords will be sharp, and crossbows stable.
  • Spotter basic - Let your word cripple the biggest troublemakers.
  • Dominator ACE - You identify not only the wrath of heavens, but also mercy. Give a second chance to every sinner willing to confess
  • Combat Doctor ACE - Sometimes encouraging word is not enough. Then comes blessed medicines.
  • Hostage Taker ACE - Your mercy will be rewarded. As reward for your kindness your basic regeneration will be increased more than twice Serious mode 4% / 5s + 4.5% / 5s = 8.5% / 5s - Huge regeneration can completely compensate outdated weapons, if you decided to choose a crossbow in your arming. However, if you decide to choose a better weapon, you do not have to take this skill. You should survive with regeneration only from perk deck Muscle and you csn get in this way free 12 skillpoints. But it is worth to take it anyway, you can feel like a real chosen one
  • Inspire ACE - Inspiring sound of your prayers fills your voice woth DETERMINATION, allowing your friends in to remain on the battlefield till the end.

ENFORCER
  • Transporter ACE - Secure (to purify them), all corrupted by sin valuables.
  • Die Hard ACE - Do not lose faith in your spirit even during the darkest moments.
  • Underdog ACE - No matter how many enemies, your faith will lead you.
  • Pumping Iron ACE - Justice in the form you are carrying, is not the lightest virtue.
  • Stun Resistance ACE - As a warrior of light, little flash is not so terrible for you.
  • Ammunition Specialist ACE - Sometimes the situation requires more crates of ammunition than meds. Do not allow the siege to fell because of with such flimsy reason.
  • Fully Loaded basic - More bolts means longer crusade to lead.
  • Iron Man ACE - Let your enemies fall under your shining armor. They really think they can protect themself behind these silly shields? Justice knows no obstacles.

GHOST
  • Sprinter ACE - allows for faster access to the wounded comrades.
  • Cat Burglar basic - Your faith allows you to perform each stroke.
  • Fast Hands ACE - Let saints lead your skillful hands.
  • Cleaer basic - Your blade is more effective against the most blinded by sin. Serious Mode you can think that 5% is not much, but add 15% from Spotter skill - boom, 20% more damage
Paladyn - Perk Deck

Muscle

Muscle adds to your build all the features which needs blessed warrior like you. Survive longer preaching the luminous truth. Spread terror among the enemies using your charismatic aura (does not work with crossbows, no but there's nothing we can do with it ;[ )

But most importantly, as a celestial chosen one, enjoy divine regeneration. Even in the worst moments, your patrons will always accompany you, filling your soul with DETERMINATION, and the body with vigor.
Inquisitor
The second version of my medieval build Inquisitor is focused on combat and characterized by the following features:

  • Proudly lead crusade against the infidel, stand at the forefront of the attack in the heaviest armor and affect the improve the quality of the armor of soldiers accompanying you in this quest.
  • Demonstrate ruthless sword of justice to enemies of the Pope and heal yourself the using pain of heretics. But only while striking using sword, because if you burn them, you are not gonna gain any heal. Direct sword blows are the best way of purification.
  • Speed up siege progress effectively by destroying enemy pagans fortifications. Use for it drills, the newest invention of Pope Bain. They are not working very well, but we live in Dark Ages, what did you expect.


This makes Inquisitor a typical tank build, which additionally before being drafted into the papal army was once a one of king's artificers, so Inquisitor besides fighting, can improve all the "siege tools".
Inqusitor - Skills
MASTERMIND
Cable Guy ACE - You can catch more infidels in order to interrogate them later.
Endurance ACE - Heresy does not get tired. You also cannot.
Spotter basic - Hurts the most the biggest sinners
Dominator basic - Sometimes, when your team fails, you have to negotiate along with the enemy. Or just show him his soldiers tied under your blade.

Die Hard ACE - True Inqusition is dangerous in any situation or position.
Underdog ACE - When the enemy surrounds you, you have a wonderful opportunity to burn everything around you.
Pumin Iron ACE - Hands that mete out punishment, are not the lightest.
Stun Resist ACE - Do not be blinded by some pagan tricks.
Ammunition Speialist ACE - More ammunition allows to end more heresy.
Fully Loaded Basic- You'd better get ready for this trip. You can't empty your pockets in middle of dirty work.
Iron Man ACE - Crush your enemies under the weight of yourarmor, and broke their shields with bare hand. Nobody can hide from punishment.

TECHNICIAN
Rifleman ACE, Demoliton Man ACE, Combat Engineer basic, Tactical Mines basic - fillers
Nerves of Steel ACE - already have shed so much blood that even your own wounds unfortunate not your peace of mind.
Sharpshooter ACE - (basic) Let your shots leads justice alone! (ACE) Filler
Hardware Expert ACE, Drill Seregant ACE - Able to lead a siege, meticulously taking care of all the tools of destruction.
Shockproof ACE - The pagan funny tricks do not make the slightest impression on you.
Bulletproof ACE - for this mission was cut for you one of the best armor in the kingdom. Almost reflect any bullets.

GHOST
Sprinter ACE - Nobody will escape.
Cat Burglar basic - something like the "height" can not stop you.
Fast Hands basic - The sooner you take care of gold, the sooner you deal with heretics.
Cleaner basic - Point your hate toward preaching the greatest heresies.
Inqusitor - Perk Deck
Infiltrator
Everything you need for his mission. Being surrounded is good for you and bad for your enemies.
In addition, feel the satisfaction of direct inflictioning pain, when every (almost every) time your blade is dipped in someone else's defiled by sins body.

PS: Hitting tied law enforcers or even Jokers can heal you too. Very sadistic.
Weapons (Optional)
It's medieval build, so it probably has to be created for medieval weapons!

Here are some options:

Primary
  • Light Crossbow - For normal belts light crossbow is better choice than heavr. More ammunition, faster reloading, and so kills everything that moves by single headshot, even at the Death Wish. Even Dozer should be dead too even if hit him between the eyes.

  • Heavy Crossbow - slightly worse choice for regular bolts, lower fire rate and less ammunition. More damage does not give us much, because to kill armored police enforcers or special enemies, we only need one headshot to kill them immediately. Light crossbow does the same, and heavier does not kill heavy armored enemies via bodyshot. After all, personally I like this version more, because of the climate reload animations.

  • Light Crossbow Explosive - Papal alchemists's recent invention, arrows that explode! Direct shot usually kills enemy, or at least always stuns him, which is extremely useful for poring through hordes of infidels.

  • Heavy Crossbow Explosive - The same invention as in the example above. In this case, the more damage are important because of the increased area damage. Personally, I recommend heavy crossbow for explosive bolts, because of the huge potential of destroying groups of unbelievers.


Why not have a bow? Because who saw heavy armored warrior playing with a twine on crooked stick!

  • Flamethrower (Inquisitor) - Here's genius combination of our alchemists's liquid fire with a simple launcher designed by our artificers. Spread terror among the heretics by imposing the heaviest of all punishments - burn them alive.
Secondary
  • Pistol crossbow explosive - Only good choice for a secondary weapon. As you can see, in this toy is using our alchemists greatest invention too. But seriously, the only good choice if you want to combine it with the simple crossbow as primary. Explosions can stun enemies, allowing you to avoid bad situations, and stun Dozers, so you can easily finish it using crossbow or jawelin.

Melee

  • The greatsword - Combines good range with brute force, which only valiant men can tame. And by the way greatsword has a golden damage, so that opponents who have been hit even only once, usually immediately give up (on the DW must aim for head)



Other melee to use are not forbiden, but these barbarian weapons are unworthy of a true knight.

Throwable

  • Javelin - This weapon kills every in one throw, no matter where you hit. (Also special enemies) The only exception are Dozers. To one-shot Dozer, you have to hit the exposed face. But in combination with an explosive bolts it should not be a problem.

  • Molotov (Inquisitor) - A classic liquid fire. To punish mass heresy.
