By Kjall
A build that comes to show that Sydney > Clover (not really this build is just stupid OP and fun)

Introduction
As you all know sydney has been out for a week and I finally got my hands on the DLC and already made a build that is stupidly OP on Deathwish.

The build focuses on Sydney's items, AKA The Bootleg, Butterfly Knife, perkdeck and Judge (more on why the judge is remotely related to sydney will come later on)

The DLC
Before starting there is one mandatory DLC and one recommended DLC for this.

Mandatory:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/468410/

Cmon you thought we will do a Sydney build without the Sydney pack?

Recommended:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/311050/

For the sake of HE rounds for your judge.
Build briefing
This build uses everything that Sydney has come with to make a build with so much sustainability and firepower even Doomguy would be jealous.
So, the main points:

Pros:
  • Can survive engagements with extremely big groups of enemies and come out scratchless (by big I mean at least 10 gensec cops)
  • Very destructive
  • high mobility

Cons:
  • Very limited weapon choices (tho I didn't test with any guns except the ones ill point out later on, cause they seem like the best options)
  • Only one deployable (a good one but still)
  • Things won't go to sh*t that often, but when they do, you gotta react fast or you're done for it.
  • Can have trouble dealing with shields and dozers ASSUMING you aren't using the HE rounds, otherwise you MAY experience ammo efficiency issues (easily resolved by a teammate bring 2 aced ammobags tho)
The Skills
Probably the most important part of a build, yeh? yeh.
I'm not gonna go on every bloody excrutianing detail on every single skill in the tree, it's useless and boring and no one wants to read through all of it, i'm just gonna say the entire point of the combination of skills in the tree.

Mastermind
Didn't need anything here except for Endurance and the only reason I aced it is because I had some skillpoints left.

Enforcer
One of the two main skilltrees of the build, the entire point of the skills here is to make you more ammo efficient, shotgun efficient for your secondary (or in general if youd like to switch up the guns ill offer, shotguns should be very effective for this build) and have some skills to improve your survivability like Flash Resistance.

Technician
This tree is useless for the build, offered nothing, I don't think you should even bother looking here if you would like to tinker with the build.

Ghost
Also not much here, only 2 skills, Sprinter for a sprint speed that isnt idiotically slow and for the sake of the extra dodge while running around slaying cops, and the basic fast hands for a bagging speed that won't make you want to bang your head in the wall repeatedly.

Fugitive
The second main tree of the build, the entire point here is to give you your deployable, the first aid kits, to heal up when needed, to give you extra dodge, to give you crits to kill enemies faster and to give you Bullseye to improve the armor gain from the perk deck.
The Perk Deck
The perk deck is gonna be the Anarchist (seriously this a build that is focused on the Sydney pack dlc and her character what other deck you think was gonna be used?)

(in case anyone doesnt know where to find it it's the most bottom one in the decks list).

The Armor
Your armor will be the suit
Now, why the suit you ask? why not the CTV which will benefit greatly from the armor perks of the Anarchist or the balistic vests to avoid the speed penalty? well, glad you're interested.
Your playstyle relies on being fast, something the suit grants you, and on dodging, a trait that the suit already has while the other vests need perk decks just to get above 0 dodge, so assuming you have Sneaky Bast*rd in full effect, you will have 20% dodge just like that (35% when crouched and 40% while sprinting), and with that being said, Anarchist ALREADY gives you 158 armor on your suit! meaning that whatever you wont dodge, your armor will be able to sustain it, morever, the suit has the fastest armor regen intervals out of all the armor types for Anarchist (10 armor in every 2 seconds no matter what), allowing you to regenerate your armor somewhat reliably (unlike the 80ish armor per 17 seconds the ICTV has).
The Guns
The Bootleg (Primary)

*stats in the screenshot*
Mods:
Barrel - AML Barrel
Barrel Ext - Bootstrap Compensator
Grip - Pro Grip

The signature gun of Sydney. The Bootleg is a pretty solid gun and plays like most assault rifles, a solid 667 rate of fire like the car-4 and reaches the 40 and 45 breakpoints with abit of modding, our Bootleg build will have 40 damage but youre free to tweak it as you like, the entire point here is to make it concealable.
So what makes it special? well, it has a 100 ROUND MAGAZINE, meaning you can keep dishing out punishment for way longer periods of time, making it one of the better guns to deal with 10 cops at once.

The Judge (Secondary)

Mods: None

Solid secondary shotgun, can one headshot the greys on DW and one shot everything aside from dozers on Deathwish with Overkill active, use it to either finish off the last cops from a group that youve almost fully eliminated, or to weaken/outright kill parts of big groups, or if youre low on ammo on your primary, OR put HE rounds on it and use it as an anti shield and dozer weapon, and maybe for crowd control at times.

I chose to not mod it cause of concealment (and looks), but again, tweak with it however you want, im only giving you the build and you do whatever you want with it and do your own testing.

So how is this remotely related to Sydney? well, thanks to the Sydney Safe update we know that Sydney has a specially modified judge she likes using, now since that is a legendary skin that will need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of luck to unbox and/or cost a fortune to buy, we will just use a standard issue judge which does the job JUST as well.
Info And Playstyle
This build is based on the fact that you have Bullseye and the 10 armor per hit card in Anarchist (last card).
You barely have 160 armor and 20% Dodge (35% when crouching and 40% when sprinting), luckily, you can replenish up to 55 armor points from simply getting a kill.
The entire secret for the survivability is that you have a decent amount of armor, a decent amoung of dodge, regaining 10 armor every seconds, and can replenish roughly 1/3 of your armor from a single kill every 1.5 seconds, don't be afraid to face an entire group of cops on your own, but do know when to pull out and heal with your kits when you need to. Also 2 very important notes:

1) you MUST AIM FOR THE HEAD, that headshot kill is the difference between getting 10 armor back and 55 armor back.

2) You are either sprinting or crouching, never standing, when you're standing you have the least amount of dodge out of all of the modes, so unless the situation REALLY calls for it, don't stand, either crouch or sprint.

Also share your kits with the team, you have 14(!) of them, more than enough for an entire heist unless there is some noob that keeps dying and you so innocently keep healing him thinking he will get better next time
Final Words (Important)
This was my first guide that i half-assed in about 2-3 hours because i really liked the build i made, you're free to tinker with this build as much as you want (but don't diviate from the original intent, eh?)
It's also important to note that i have a hefty amount of hours in the game and this build might as well be stupidly OP for me only, i've shared my knowledge on how to play it, you do you.

I'll probably keep updating the guide to make it more refined and understandable, maybe add a gameplay video to make it more clear on how you should play the build.

If requested ill fix or rephrase parts that arent very clear.
Don't forget to rate the guide, the more people seeing it the better!

Now go on, go unleash that inner troublemaker with this build!

The legendary Judge uses 000Buck instead of HE if you were wondering.

I owe you an apology, you can indeed take inspire while still taking the mandatory stuff.
J-12 Jun 6, 2016 @ 12:22pm
Well, lucky you, i cant find even few decent human beings who able to play on overkill, let alone play anything on death wish.
I miss the times when death wish just came out, so everyone was playing it free. Also there was much more less shitty DLC's.

I don't play on OVK, from my perspective you can do just fine on OVK with unmodded amcar, chimano 88, no skills +hitman+ctv
J-12 Jun 6, 2016 @ 11:03am
Do you realy need those crits this much? Sure i didnt played on DW for a while, but im certain that on OVK it's realy just, well, not needed.
Anyway, i dont feel like i can criticise or estimate your build before you convert it in accordance with modern skill system.
Kjall  [author] Jun 6, 2016 @ 10:56am
I tried fitting stuff other than inspire (also high tier skills) and it just wouldn't work without completly giving up on something, you can give up crits but then the bootleg isn't as powerful, it is used here for it's concealment and mag size and crits are to compensate for it's damage, making it a better crowd wiper, you can go with a jack of all trades build with inspire but then you aren't as good of a slayer, just a meta-heister, build was meant for stupid horde-slaying.

I belive with new skillsets this is not problems anymore, you can have great stability and accuracy bonuses as well as inspire aced.
New skill "Body expertise" is also fits greatly with Bootleg rifle and other new skills which are imrpoving accuracy and stability.
