Rattler to Spennymoor

Beschreibung
Drive the early morning passenger service from Middleton-in-Teesdale to Spennymoor via Bishop Auckland. You have a 3-car class '101' d.m.u. and it's a bright autumn morning. This scenario uses only the Weardale and Teesdale route with no added locos or stock and there are no reskins.

This scenario has always worked OK for me. Tell me precisely where the AI collision occurred.

had an ai issue where just over half way a 101 class stopped and a freight service ran straight into meaning can never finish the scenario shame =(

I always like driving the DMU and this is a nice run out finishing at a location that doen't get used often. Much enjoyed.

It's only polite to mention that I've put a link to this scenario on the Friends of Darlington Railway Museum website.

The signal at the end of the platform at Middleton is a junction signal. If the points are set for the left hand turnout (and the road is clear) the left hand home signal will clear. If the points are set for straight on - i.e. the right hand option - (and the road is clear) the right hand signal will clear.

In the scenario, your route is straight on at that first signal which is why the right hand signal is cleared.

The signal at the beginning of the scenario shows red on the higher signal and green on the lower signal. How should this be interpreted?
