How to play FaceIt

Are you annoyed by stupid 64 tick servers, russians jukin' around, and don't wanna lose your everything, your matchmaking rank. Then by the time you have read this guide, you should be able to play on Faceit servers.

Of course you can ask questions in the commentsection if you are unsure about what to do.

Step 1 FaceIt website

The first step to play on Faceit servers is simply by going to this website: https://play.faceit.com/
(BTW that is the first website that pops up, if you just write "Faceit" in the Google searchbar)

Step 2 Faceit account

To create a faceit account you just put in your email in the blank space and then press "SIGNUP AND PLAY" as shown on the picure. When you have done that succesfully, you gotta confirm your acc. by pressing the link in a mail Faceit sends you. The process of making the password and Faceit ID is pretty straight forward, just fill in all the blanks.

Step 3 Setting up your acc.

When you are succesfully done with your Faceit acc. you gotta register the game(s) you want to play on Faceit. In this case i'll tell you how to register CSGO.

Press the CSGO logo, then press the green "sign in through steam" button (as shown on the picture). Then a new website pops up, where you gotta log in to your steam acc. to sync it with Faceit.

Step 4 Ready to play!

When you are done with setting up the games you want to play on Faceit, you are ready to play.
If you want to read how to soloque, go to the "Soloque" section in this guide, if you want to create a lobby (it's called a party in faceit) you can go to the "Create party" section, and finally if you want to play in one of your friend's party go to the "Your friends party" section in this guide.

Soloque

If you want to soloque #EMO, you just gotta press the play button right on your screen. Then "5V5" > "Play as solo" and then you will start queing.

If you by chance get the team leader role go to the "You are the leader" section in this guide, to find out what to do.

You are the leader

If you by chance get the teamleader role you will be able to choose which maps you want to sort out of the pool. To do that you press the maps on the left of the screen, that you don't want to play, but remember you only can do that when it's your turn, there's also a leader on the other team.

You also gotta choose where you want the servers to come from. At that point, it's a good idea to choose a country that's not too long away from where you live.

When you and the other teamleader have chosen the game details, press the orange "play" button, and "Allow" if you get asked about letting faceit open up programs on your PC.
When you have done all that, simply go to your CSGO tab and it will load the map.

Create party

If you want to create a party with some of your friends on Faceit, you first of all gotta HAVE friends on Faceit.
To do that you can either search for your friend's name in the little searchbar in the top part of the screen and then press the little "+" next to your friend's name. Then they just gotta accept your request.
If one of your friends sends you a friend request, all you gotta do is pressing the little man just nexto the searcbar. You can then see the request and accept it.
Then you can invite your friend(s) to the party by pressing "Create party" just nexto your profile pic and name. Then you can invite your friends by pressing one of the little men with the +, and search for your friends name.
The last part is just like soloqueing.

Your friend's party

It is very easy to play in a friend's party, you just gotta click accept to the little box that pops up, and then you are in the party.
But remember that if you are already in another party, you gotta quit it by pressing the little orange "quit" in the top right of the screen.
Then the last part is just like soloqueing, but in this case, you can't be the teamleader, but your friend can.

SIDE NOTES

- If you win or lose in a faceit game it doesn't affect your matchmaking rank, but your faceit rank.
- Yes, you can play faceit even though you have ban in real CSGO matchmaking, though if you have VAC ban, it's still not possible to play...

I just set up an account and downloaded the client and connected my steamaccount but i cannot play faceit. if i click on CS_GO 5v5 in the matchmaking section it just tells me to select an event. i cannot select any event because i didnt play enough ladder games yet :(
