Customizing Your CS:GO ( fonts, bomb codes and more )

This is an in-depth guide on how to customize your csgo.

Read

*To get a few of these to work you need to enable your developer console
* Nothing in this guide will get you vac-banned
* If anyone has a reason for me to take anything down I'll happily do it :)

Fonts

Want to change your font in cs:go?

How to install :

1. Click Here [fonts.spddl.de] and choose which font you want to use.

2. After you have chosen and downloaded your font from Here [fonts.spddl.de]
you have to locate your Steam folder.
Its usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

3. Go to Steam\SteamApps\Common\Counter Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\flash

(3.5) OPTIONAL : Make a backup folder and
locate the fontmapping.cfg file and put it into the backup folder.

4. Go trough all the folders in the zip file until you find a file called fontlib_spddl.swf and a new fontmapping.cfg file.

5. Now simply just drag and drop those 2 files into your flash folder and you're done

Bomb Codes

Want to change your bomb code to Kappa? IZI

1. Download the bomb code pack from one of these links :
➤ {LIEN SUPPRIMÉ} Media Fire
➤ Drop Box [www.dropbox.com]

2. Open up the zip file and select the code you want to use. There is a preview to every single one.

3. Once you have selected your code, open up the .ttf file and press install.

If anything went wrong and you want to uninstall do this : Go to This website [fontzone.net] and download the Courier New font. After go to C:\Windows\Fonts and open Courier New. Now delete Courier New normal font. Only normal font. After open up the Courier New font you installed and click install
Sidenote, I haven't tried this method so I dont know if it works 100%

Minimap / Radar

In this section I will be going over 3 things, radar callouts, simplified radar and improved radar settings.

Minimap callouts

1. {LIEN SUPPRIMÉ} Download it here

2. Go to your Counter-Strike : Global Offensive folder, usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\overviews

3. Extract all the files in the .zip file to the overviews folder and you're done.

1. Go to this website [www.simpleradar.com] and scroll down to downloads. Choose what maps you want to download ( I recommend full pack which will give you all the current maps )

2. Locate your csgo overviews folder ( \Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\overviews\

2.5. OPTIONAL : Make a backup folder and copy the original files into the backup.

3. Move all the files in the rar file and hit replace, you're done!

Improved radar settings

This will help you see more of the map and will improve your gameplay.
Simply just type these 2 commands in the console ;
cl_radar_scale 0.4 ( You can experiment with values yourself )
cl_radar_always_centered 0

Hud

Note that I used pictures from another guide "How to change your hud" by Akessandro and dAAM, if they want me to not use the pictures I'll be ok with that.

Show Avatars Or Numbers

The command is : cl_hud_playercount_showcount 0 - 1 ( 0 = Avatars showing, 1 = Just numbers )

Hud Color

Command : cl_hud_color 0 - 10

0 = Default
1 = Aqua
2 = Green
3 = Yellow
4 = Orange
5 = Red
6 = Pink
7 = Purple
8 = Blue
9 = Light Blue
10 = White

Hud positioning

safezonex ( 0.85 - 1.0 ) brings the hud closer to the screen (x axis).
safezoney ( 0.85 - 1,0 ) brings the hud closer to the screen (y axis).

hud_scaling ( 0.5 - 0.95 ) makes the hud bigger or smaller.
cl_hud_background_alpha ( 0.0 - 1.0 ) sets how transparent the hud backgrounds are.

Making cs look more colorful is easy just follow these steps.

How to change your colors :

Its a bit different depending on what graphics card you've got.

NVIDIA ➤ Right click on your desktop and open up the NVIDIA controll panel. Under the Monitor tab click the Adjust Desktop Color Settings and turn your Digital Vibrance up to 200%

Intel ➤ Open up the Intel controll panel and go to the Monitor tab. Now go to the Color tab and then to Advanced. Turn your Saturation up to 100%

AMD ➤ Open up the AMD Catalyst Control Center and click on the My Digital Flat-Panels tab. Go to the Display Color tab and turn your Saturation up.
