The best Backers' Trinkets

Greetings, everyone.

Thanks to the Kickstarter backers, developers have added a total of 293 additional trinkets in the game. All of them have Kickstarter rarity and various attributes. Here, I list the ones I find most usefull.

To get a trinket from the list, in the trinket inventory screen, press Enter and type the name of the trinket.

Starbreaker +12 Speed, -39% Heal skills on 1st round

Arzac’s Tome of Incantations +12% Crit, -18 Dodge

Avalon +6 Speed, +6% Crit, -6% Prot on 1st round, -10% Blight resist in position 1, -10% Disease resist in position 1

Beloved’s ring +5 ACC, +4 Speed, +10% DMG, -10% Bleed resist, -10% Blight resist, -10% Disease resist

Brutal Hairpin +15% DMG, -10% Bleed resist while camping

Da powar +10 ACC, +10% DMG, -30% Trap Disarm while camping

Hound Crest +4 SPD, +10% DMG, +5 ACC, -12% Crit while camping

Masque of the Red Death +11 Dodge, -10% Disease resist, -13% Heals received

Mizir’s Unfinished Bestiary +15% DMG vs Eldritch, +15% DMG vs Unholy, -4 Speed, +10% Stress damage

Ravenous Lion’s Ring +15% DMG melee skills, +6% Crit melee skills, +50% DMG while starving, +50% Food consumed

The Scarecrow’s Brain +39% Heal Skills, -15 ACC

Hysterical Visage +10% DMG, +5% Crit melee skills, +6 Dodge, +10% Stress damage if torch above 75, -8% Virtue chance, -10% Blight resist on Death's Door

Tyruil +10% Crit ranged skills, +50% food consumed on 1st round, -6 dodge on 1st round, -13% Heals received on 1st round

Boots of much kicking +10% DMG, +4% CRT, +6% PROT, -10% Move Resist while Camping, -10% Trap Disarm while Camping, -16% Resolve XP while Camping

Necronomicon +26% Heal Skills, +4 SPD, -48% Resolve XP

Looking through the backer trinkets you find that the designers assume that 2 ACC == 2% CRIT == 5% DMG and using this as a basis we can score all of them and sort them by that score, which I have done within:

You missed Dano's Glory and Fool's Bane.

You should add the trinkets "Crest of the 1100" (+25% Virtue Chance, -15% Stress) and "Le Roi en Jaune" (+24% Reslove XP, -15% Stress, -8% Chance Monsters Surprised if in Position 4, -8% Virtue Chance if Torch below 26, -5 ACC vs Eldritch). They are by far my most favorite backer trinkets, as the Crest of the 1100 provides a powerful virtue buff as well as Stress reduction, and Le Roi en Jaune provides more XP and less Stress and all of its debuffs are conditional (certain positions, light levels, and enemies) I never do a playthrough without them

What is so great about Masque of the Red Death, may I ask? It just boosts one stat, albeit to a high degree. And who would you use it on?

Retrospectively I mostly agree with you.
I would not discard Dano's Glory so easily though. Especially if you've already equiped the Hound Crestand and Beloved’s ring.
Also, I like The Scarecrow’s Brain but the ACC penalty is massive so I'd be open to alternative Heal Skills Trinkets.
