Description
Regius Reliquias, the Royal Remnants, the survivors, as they call themselves.

The Contact.

Terran Trading Unit AX-542, Captain's Log, Stardate 4302.1.
Half-way to the Ganea Station with cargo full of second hand parts of military grade drones when autopilot halted all systems due to sensors detecting heavy subspace interference right ahead. The unknown tampering emitted blinding golden light, screens full of nonsense readings. And suddenly, enormous, almost colossal entity has emerged from the light. We didn't think twice, we've quickly entered random coordinates and within a second, jumped into the hyperspace.

The Conflict.

CNR News, Wide space transmission, encoded 53-M-4 public access, Stardate 4318.1.
The next day of the ongoing investigation regarding many reports from different sources brought no answers.
So far every strike and research team sent to one of reported locations went missing. We don't know what we are dealing with. For CNR News, Branda Bissmuth, stay tuned.

The Remnants.

Our universe is old, its too old, it doesn't want us here anymore. Scientists bring worse and worse news each day. The end is right around the corner and there is nothing we can do about it. All those people lived for nothing.
-Sir? - Short question broke through Admirals thoughts mist. He turned his eyes toward Ch'Keni, second in charge commander and lifted an eyebrow.
-Um, all systems are green, we are ready for jump.
-Proceed.
Its unnatural, abnormal, transdimensional travel was prohibited for a reason. But what if thats really our last hope.
Entire vessel trembled as engines awaken. This is it. We're leaving so much behind. Sensation. Everything changed its place, light, blinding light and silence. Colors, shapes, smells and tastes, everything mingled together. And it all came back to its original form just as quickly as it happened.
Admiral lifted an eyebrow again - Well, that was interesting, reports?
-No structural damage, all systems working and responding.
-Detecting few lifeforms, zero threat, no weapon systems... they're gone, hyperspace tunel.
-Very well, perform a long range scan and proceed with Phase Two, also, maximum security around our settlers, destroy any life forms in range.
It is time to expand.
This is our home now.

  • Total of 44 entities added to the game,
    • 20 of which are asteroid-growing buildings,
    • 2 space stations,
    • 2 gun-hardpoints,
    • 19 space ships of all P ranges
    • Ark class vessel "Votum" sporting over 20,000P (there should be at least one per region)

  • Wide array of hull shapes for complex designs

  • No "Shield" purpose block as is. Instead, every active item you install on your ship, weapon, generator, command module, comes with built-in shielding. Exception is 'Clypeus' small block with low radius shield designed as first-line defense

  • Modular missle systems Quiritor, Sagacitas and Legion, (see video above)

  • Four sizes of long range siege cannons
    • Obsidionem,
    • Obsidium,
    • Obsidio,
    • Obsidio Telo

  • Long range chargeable high damage fixed laser cannon Lux Hastam

  • Two sizes of melee spike launchers
    • Spiculum,
    • Criobolium

  • Testificor - Teleports explosive charge aboard of enemy ship

From the comments, this factions sounds just like the thing to fight using my hilariously overpowered ADS Dreadnaught.
Granted, it sounds like it might finally beat it, but thats a risk I wanna take now lmao

not sure if anyone else has asked yet, but is it intentional for the faction to control like half the galaxy when you generate a map? Its a cool feature but I can't help thinking its not actually supposed to be like that lol

Not sure why people are calling them overpowered against modded factions. They get completely wrecked by the burning blade ascendancy. Haven't tried them against the cold fusion gods yet but I don't see them fairing any better.

Their armor health and weapon damage need to be drastically lowered. I've played with this mod for years and still the faction is too overpowered. Nothing can reliably destroy their ships.

Even other modded factions that call themselves overpowered fail to defeat them RR lmao

trust me, playing as the vanilla starting faction and fgihting them early on is tough, but once you get all the stuff unlocked and make a 8000p ship... you realize the best energy sheilds who have melt to their weapons and their armour regens fast... they are scary as hell. only way ive killede abig ship is by letting them wonder into the farmers territory then i capitalize

they aree a force to fear as ai, had them start near me and they nearly wiped us out, fortunatly i helped my ai set up a very basic wall of defences in the form op stations and ship spam
