What is The Crab?

The Crab is a fighting style. It is one of the most effective fighting styles in Deadliest Warrior...
...Unless Crab is a prawn.

This fighting style was created by Husky201 (Formerly known as The Crab Lord)
The Way of The Crab is a group and community too.
It is also a way of life.

Overview

Note:
o The crab is for the Viking. The crab is less effective in any other class.

Transformation:
The crab consists of crouching. The Crab crouches at all time (most of the time depending on The Crab's situation) until The Crab finds opportunity.

The crab must have two claws and a shell
(Two axes and a shield)

There is no way a ninja can competently roll right in front of you or past you while you attack.

The crab's easiest target is the Ninja.
(You must fear The Way of The Crab, Ninja.)

There are weaknesses too, but they will not be mentioned.
I won't mention weaknesses as people will use it against us!
The Crab will find out the weaknesses itself.

The crab must find wisdom. Let me give an example:

"The crab does not engage in battle, it simply ends battle."

Getting Started as a Crab

The Crab must learn all techniques.

There is no need to practice them all at the same time.

Now how to get started you ask? This is what you will need:

o Viking Class
o Two Dane axes (Claws)
o And a shield on your back (Shell)

You must crouch as much as possible while starting out. Later on, you will see that you must do this to learn about the crab stance and how to use it effectively.

They say The Crab is not effective...
...But as I have mentioned before...
..The Crab has never been mastered.
The Crab Lord will be sure to master it before any other crab.

Techniques

o The Standing Crab is the most common deciesive technique if used in a predictable way (So you can catch the other animals of the ocean with your claws by surprise :3). This consists of charging an animal for an attack after standing from the crouch.

The crab must crouch. Nothing must be able to get lower than the crab.

o Swimming Crab: The crab shall rise from its hind legs and begin to swim forward towards its attacker from longer distances (Running and Jumping towards its attacker). If used often, this would defeat the idea of Crab Style, so there is no point in using it often.

o Patience. The key to the crab is to wait the opponent out and take safe opportunities to attack his attacker. This confuses the opposition.

o Fleeing. If the crab is outmatched, the crab must flee, then assess the situation. Wait it out, and not let the one who was attacking you gain health while your health has regained.

o Claw Sacrafice: Throwing your claws is a terrible idea, but in emergency, you must sacrafice your claw if the crabs life depends on it.

Shell: Don't ever, ever remove your shell.

o The Fake Swimmer: One must move forward repeatedly and overhead. The moving lifts the crab upwards, therefore it makes it harder to detect movement from your claws. This technique will confuse your opponents very much.

o Sleeping Crab: The crab may stay still and sat. This can be risky, but if one thinks you're not active in fighting you can take them by surprise if they try to attack the crab and "SNIPSNIPSNIP!"

o High Snip: The Crab shall raise a claw (Like he is going to throw his claw) and this will make the opponents get confused (Make them block). They must not throw the claw unless it is in an emergency (Read Claw Sacrafice)

Philosophies

The crab that walks too far, falls into the pot.
(Crab must be patient)

You cannot teach a crab to walk straight.
(Don't give up because they're all dancing around you.)

The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.

Crabs may teach, but most crabs learn.

Only one can overcome an arrow with a shell
Only one can overcome a bolt with a shell
Only one can overcome a bullet with a shell
Only one can overcome a throwing knife with a shell
And only one may overcome a spear with a shell...
...Shells don't just protect you, they define you.

The crab may fail constantly
But the crab shall learn
It is like learning to walk all over again.

Crab Styles

Coconut Crab
The Coconut Crab is a more defensive approach
The Coconut crab mostly consists of a shield and axe equipped
The no. 1 secret of the Coconut crab is to crack the spartan sheild
If you wish to learn this exploit, you must show potential first
And then The Crab may permit you.

The Common Crab
The Common Crab is a more offensive approach
Both claws must be weilded
And a shell shall be provided on the back of The Common Crab.
The no. 1 secret lies with the coconut crab and can be used with The Common Crab style.

The Bouncing Crab
(Similar to The Fake Swimmer Technique) With any weapons of the above, this is more of a technique than a style, but here, I put it into a style.
-The bouncing crab is where the crab must repeatedly crouch, and get back up. This confuses the opponent, but imagine you are climbing your opponent, then you will learn The Bouncing Crab.

Functions of The Crab and Consideration Before Engaging

The Crab family cannot bow, and cannot purposely engage in duels.

The Crab must use its swarm of other crabs as protection. The Crab Lord stays behind the swarm, as the well-protected Crab.

The Crab does not have much of a brain, but do not cross The Crab or decieve The Crab, for The Crab is most unforgiving if threatened.

Crabs do not simply snip. Crabs have patience and great timing. The king of the ocean is The Crab.

Things to take into consideration before engaging with The Crab
o Crabs are the highest in the food chain.
o Crabs do not forget
o Crabs do not have low attention spans, that of a human has.
o Kicking, attacking or klilling a crab will put the swarm on conclusion, that you are a threat
o Crabs erase all of their threats
o Crabs are the most satisfying kill one can achieve
o It commonly takes 2 to kill a crab, 1 does not suffice in the most part.

Emotion and Senses
Crabs only have emotion for its bretherin. When one is hurt, they all hurt. Mostly The Crab Lord will be hurt most.
As for the crabs senses, they mostly listen to the vibrations of the seabed. Though The Crab may have great vision due to its patience and caution, they see in 2D like it is a video, unless there is a threat, or one is close to them, they sense in 3D due to their instincts kicking in. If another crab is getting hurt, The Crab will also come back to its superior sense.

Beware Ninjas, you will be snipped if you attack The Crab. If you try to make a meal out of The Crab, The Crab will make an easy meal out of you.

Weapons Against The Crab
Crabs do not like sharp things. Arrows, bolts, spears, The Crab could care less due to its shell, but Swords, Katanas, and others, they do not like. The Crab likes to have the sharpest weapon, which is its claws.
Anything ranged its merely not going to work, The Crab's shell can deflect bullets easily.

The Way of The Hunt

The Crab must hunt its prey to survive like every other predator on this earth!
The Crab will usually have ONLY ONE meal and be satisfied.

Stalking Its Prey
The Crab will mostly have an easy hunt stalking its "Friendly foes" Such as in an FFA match, where some of the animals do not attack The Crab, and even help The Crab!
These fools are easy victims to The Crab's stomach.

Food on The Table
So how much food does one crab get within the family? THE WHOLE MEAL.
This means if there are 4 crabs, you must get 4 meals for The Crab family.

The Crab and Morality

You wonder about The Crabs morality?
The Crab has NO morality!

The Crab will attack if attacked, even if the attacker is not attacking.

The Crab will even attack those who help The Crab! Yes. If The Crab feels threatened in any way by this "Helper" The Crab will snip them to death! You may have many friendlies in a Free For All, but The Crab always stays on the safe side.

Bowing and honor.
The Crab has no honor. The crab is simply majestic. Look upon the crab for your inspiration!
The Crab simply cannot bow. The Crab will watch as one bows to the crab. This confuses the opponent as usually they will not attack if bowed, but if The Crab feels threatened by this bow, maybe due to The Crab's experience with attackers bowing, then by all means The Crab will remove this threat!

Hunting
The Crab simply hunts and kills when it is hungry.
The Crab is sneaky when hunting, and tries not to get face-to-face with its prey.
