How To: Pyro (Pyro Tips & Tricks!)

Are you a bad Pyro? Well, F2P or not, im here to help YOU become a better Pyro!

Read on for some tips and tricks for the Pyro. Along with some good weapons!

Pyro: Tips and Tricks

Here are a few tips and tricks on Pyro.

Now, Pyro is my favourite character/class in TF2. As such i play as him a lot and learned some tips and tricks, here are some of them!

- If using a flamethrower with the airblast feature, try to blow your enemys off cliffs and/or buildings.
- Depending on your flamethrower, just running around with the left click button down does actually work.
- If using the backburner, try to get higher than your enemy and jump over them, giving you the ability to burn them from behind.
- If you have the flare gun (which is fairly easy to get), set your "G" key to switch between flamethrower and flare gun, Shoot far away people with the flare gun, and when they get close, you can easily switch to the flamethrower and burn them.
- Look out for spys, they are the easiest to kill as Pyro.
- Try to stand on the side of where an opponent will spawn/go and burn then as they exit.
- using the Pholisenger (idk how to spell it) use the "mmph" taunt to recharge your health in tight situations.
- try to sneak up on snipers from behind with the backburner or a melee weapon.

There are some tips and tricks to help YOU (hopfully) become a better Pyro!

Pyro: Suggested Weapons

Weapons are a very important aspect of being a better Pyro, the normal flamethrower will work, but here are some I think are better!





- Pholistenger (again, idk how to spell it): My personal favourite of the flamethrowers, this weapon is the one I use the most, it may not have the airblast feature, but it makes up for that. It has a special taunt, that when you have enough kills, and right click you will recieve full health, all crits, and you are invunrable while taunting!

- The Rainblower: Idk, it hasent got a lot of special effects, but hey! the thing shoots rainbows and takes you to the magical land of Pyroland!

- The Backburner: All crits from behind, which is good if you can sneak up on a enemy sniper!

- Flare Gun/Detonator: Since they are pretty much the same, ill list them BOTH here. The Flare gun is fairly easy to get, and is good for enemys that are out of range of you flamethrower. The detonator pretty much just catches them on fire, and makes a small explosion.

- Sharpened Volcano Fragment: My favourite melee weapon for the Pyro, the axe catches you enemys on fire when you hit them, plus, it looks really cool!

Those are a few of my favourite, most effective, and useful weapons for the Pyro!

Pyro: Best Loadout (in my opinion)

Have all the weapons i suggested? Or even more!? Cant decide which ones to use? Well im here to help! This is the the loadout that works best for me, and the one i use most often!

Primary Weapon (you guessed it!): The Pholistinger (did i get right?!)

Secondary Weapon: The Detonator

Melee Weapon: Sharpened Volcano Fragment

This is the loadout that works well for me, and the one i use the most! Hope you get the same results!
