Silent Hill 2 (Default PS2/Xbox Layout)

Controller layout for Silent Hill 2 that accurately emulates the default PS2/Xbox button configuration. Added a quick heal and a quick reload to L3/R3 since they are not used in the console layout.

Created and tested using an Xbox 360 controller on the Director's Cut version. Should be compatible with any version using the default control scheme. Note: Silent Hill 2 will detect a controller, unbind the joypad button layout in the options menu before attempting to use this profile.


Left Stick - Movement (Arrow Keys)
D-Pad - Movement (Arrow Keys)
Push Left Stick - Quick Heal (H)
Push Right Stick - Quick Reload (R)

A - Action/Confirm/Attack (Space)
B - Flashlight Toggle (L)
X - Cancel/Guard/Run (Shift)
Y - Map (M)

LB - Strafe Left (A)
RB - Strafe Right (D)
LB + RB - Quick 180 Turn (A+D)
LT - Search Mode (S)
RT - Aim Weapon (F)

Start - Inventory (I)
