How To Be A Professional Pyro

Hello everyone, in this guide, i'm gonna tell you some tips and tricks and usable weapons about Pyro. This is my first guide, so keep in that mind i will have any falses.

About Pyro

Pyro is not a class that you burn people and turn the whole world into a hell. I mean, that's not the tactic you use. Like only just playing with any flamethrower (like phlog) and burning every player you see.

Weapons You Use

I require a:
Stock (or reskin) flamethrower for primary,



























The Reserve Shooter for secondary


And The Powerjack for melee


























Flamethrower gives you a extinguishing teammates and counter attack advantage, The Reserve Shooter gives you a crit assistance and long-range shooting advantage and The Powerjack gives you a speed boost advantage.

Extinguishing Teammates

Extinguishing will keep your team alive. If you see a burning teammate, airblast to him and his burn will be gone. Also, if you do that to medics, that will help to team alot.

Countering To Projectiles

If a Soldier, Demoman or Sniper (with bow) is attacking to you, counter attack to him. Airblast to projectile. It will be useful at damaging enemies and keeping your medic alive. Also, you can use this tactic to a sentry to destroy it.

Airblast And The Reserve Shooter Combo

That combo will be very useful at battlefield. Simple, airblast to enemy and shoot him with Reserve Shooter when he on air.That's a very effective combo, so don't forget to use it.

Long-Range Shooting

This will be useful at long-range fights. Use it when the enemy is not in your flamethrower range.

Escaping With Powerjack

You're on low hp. Dying. Every blu team attacking to you. You need to escape. It's time to use The Powerjack. Use The Powerjack to escape, getting ammo, getting hp, capturing intelligence or like in the Being A Professional Heavy guide, use it to quickly get to the battlefield. This will be very useful about running.

Tips And Tricks

• When you're in plr_Hightower map, airblast to enemies near the cliff to push them off to cliff.
• When the enemy is in your flamethrower range, press to shoot button (don't hold) and burn them. When you burn them, use the Airblast and The Reserve Shooter combo.
