Description
**Update 4/25/16**
Well, it has come to my attention that I am the only one on the team motivated enough to continue working on this game. With that in mind, updates will not come out NEARLY as frequently as before, if they even do come out. I am still very open to helping out with Gamemaker questions and I still love seeing comments and ratings on this game, but unfortunately I do not know if development can continue. I thank you all very much for the support this has gotten and the number of downloads, comments, and ratings continues to blow my mind. - Nick

This game was originally made for a competition, but unfortunately it was canceled. Any comments or opinions would be very much appreciated. My team and I worked hard on this, so we hope you enjoy. Please share with your friends, much love! Also, if you have any comments or concerns that you would like to directly talk to me about, please feel free to message me ( Nick ) on my personal Steam account ( World's Okayest Programmer ).

Off topic, but I'm more than happy to help with GameMaker questions unrelated to Void. If you ever need help with an error, code, or anything related to GameMaker, visit the group and create a discussion, or simply feel free to add me and message me your issue! :)

UPDATE INFORMATION HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE STEAM GROUP

ABOUT SCREEN TEARING: I realize this is an issue, and apparently a lot of GameMaker: Studio users are also noticing this. Unfortunately, GameMaker: Studio's vsync function and global game setting does not work properly, so as of now I am unsure of a way to fix this. I will keep working on it and hopefully come up with a solution soon. If anyone has a possible fix to this, feel free to message me ( World's Okayest Programmer ). Thank you all for the support!

Generaly, I really enjoyed this game. I found no issues with it. I loved the art especially, it is really awesome. The game itself really is a challenge and takes a while to get into. I would easily pay $3-5 for this game. It kind of reminds me of a more fun supermeat boy. Cant wait to see more. : )

@Liger [FuG] The solo wall jumping is completely intentional and comes into play later in the game, but can be used in the earlier levels before it is actually introduced. Secondly, yes that is also intentional. I wanted to make the earlier levels a little easier, to ease the player into the gameplay and mechanics. I don't know how far you've gotten, but you'll notice the enemies in the cave area become more difficult and their attacks are less easily dodged. Thanks for the comment!

Well done! There are a couple of problems (or potential bugs) I noticed in the game.
First, it is possible to gain height by wall-jumping up any one wall, without needing two walls close to each other. That's not that big of an issue, since you can design levels around it.

The second issue is that the red enemies that creates fire around themselves only seem to let one or two of them actually do it at a time. Killing the ones that currently are shooting fire seems to let another one do it. I'm not sure if this was intended, but it makes an enemy that could be very tough become harmless.

Those issues aside, your team has made a great game and polished it excellently.

Wow! This is great! I've just started with GM and I would love to get some help on how to use it, especially for making a platformer.
Thanks for reading!
