Quaal River

Description
The ideal site for your next Finn City metropolis is the mouth of this splendid little river on the British Columbia coast! Based on a terrain.party heightmap, this location has everything: seaport-ready coastline just minutes from downtown, rail and freeway access (some of which can't be obtained until you purchase an outlying tile), oil and coal and lots of fertile bottom-land for farms, a lake up in the mountains (based on a real lake!) that your rich residents will clamor to build expensive homes on, and a bluff overlooking downtown that you can place a castle on, in case you want to give the city a rich medieval history as an strongly defended city-state. Don't wait, subscribe now! An opportunity to get land this good comes but once in a ifetime!

Thanks! Here's more pictures!

Yeah, I like writing advertisement-style descriptions - gives me a chance in this game to play not only God and mayor, but real-estate huckster as well! I'm inspired by newspaper ads in the late 1800s that read like infomercial scripts of today: "DON'T GET LEFT AGAIN! THE ONE GREAT OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFE TIME is rapidly passing at FAIRHAVEN, WASHINGTON, the Pacific Coast terminus of the Great Northern Railway. We can all look back and see where we missed it at Duluth, St, Paul, Denver, Seattle, Tacoma, and other western cities. But few such chances for quick money making will ever occur again...." (Ad from the 1880's - Fairhaven was later incorporated into Bellingham, Washington.)
