Is your Nostromo laying idle while you take to the skies? If you have EZdok you can let it join in the fun.

Intro
I have a Razer Nostromo that used to lay idle when using FSX, cycling through EZdok camera views is a pain, what if…….

This is what I did to use my Nostromo to select internal and external camera views with EZdok. You will need at least one empty controller slot in EZdok.
Preparing the Nostromo
Open Razer Synapse and create a new profile

1. Click on the “+” below “SELECT PROFILE”.

2. The “PROFILE NAME” field will change to hold something like “Profile 1” and be editable, change the name to something like “FSX”.

3. Check the “LINK PROGRAM” checkbox and navigate to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX”, locate and highlight “FSX.exe” then click on “OPEN”.

Now assign each of the keys as a joystick button.

1. Clicking on button 1 will bring up the following dialogue box:

2. Click on the drop down menu that currently says “DEFAULT” and select the “JOYSTICK” option:

3. Ensure that “BUTTON” is highlighted in the “ASSIGN JOYSTICK” section and adjust the button number to match the button you are reassigning (1 for button 01, 2 for button 02 etc.).

4. Make sure you click “SAVE” and repeat for all of the buttons. You can do this for the side buttons as well but the numbering isn’t as intuitive for the direction keys and Alt button.
Configuring EZdok
Fire up FSX and load a free-flight using one of your aircraft that you want to “enhance” the camera control of.

1. Once loaded press “Shift + D” to bring up the EZdok dialogue box.

2. From the top menu bar select "Options", then click on "Joystick Configuration..."

3. Now EZdok is a bit quirky here so take a bit of time, re-select your current controller in the "J1" drop down box, if you have a second controller assigned re-select it in the "J2" drop down box. If you don't do this EZdok will forget about them in the next step.

4. Using the next empty "Jx" drop down box select Razer Nostromo:

5. Now close the "Joystick Configuration" dialogue box using the red X, top right hand corner.

6. Highlight the camera view that you want to assign a key to and then left click in the "Joystick" field so that it turns red:

7. Press the key on the Nostromo that you want to use for this view and the field should populate:

8. Repeat from step 6 for your other views.
Layout Considerations
Obviously the keys you assign to views are done to your own taste. To makes things easier for me I use the following approach:

@Nir. that would require uninstalling EZdok in order to re-install and document the process. I'm afraid that is a bit too risky and can only really suggest trying to find something on Google or in the discussions. Sorry.

Hey great guide, you can also prepare how to install the EZDOK 1.1.8.7 version of sets, I do not know how. It's a bit Mosbc <
