Eclipse + expansions

Description
From the rulebook:
A game of Eclipse places you in control of a vast interstellar civilization, competeing for success with its rivals.

On each game round, you expand your civilization by exploring and colonizing new areas, researching technologies, and building spaceships to wage war with. The game ends after 9 rounds, and the player with the most Victory Points is the winner. Victory Points are gained from controlling galactic sectors, fighting battles, forming diplomatic relations, researching new technologies, making discoveries and controlling ancient monoliths.

There are many potential paths to vistory, so you will need to plan your strategy according to the strengths and weaknesses of your species while paying attention to the other civilizations' endeavors.

Eclipse is a long-form, 4X space empire-building game. The game is very Euro, but with an actually interesting and pervasive theme and Ameritrash-style dice-chucking combat. The game is about building your empire's territory, economy, technological prowess, and military might - and using that strength to hinder or decimate (or ally with and assist) your opponents' civilizations - so your empire can achieve galactic dominance.

The original import of the base game was done by tetrach. I have also integrated RiceKun's fold-out table trays. I have added all the official expansions for Eclipse as well as 3 of the promo mini-expansions. This Workshop item includes:
-Eclipse: New Dawn for the Galaxy
-Rise of the Ancients
-Ship Pack One (minus the ships themselves, I'm no modeller)
-Shadow of the Rift
-Nebula mini-expansion
-Pulsar mini-expansion
-Supernova mini-expansion
-Black Hole mini-expansion (Thanks simvig for scans)
-All associated rulebooks to learn the game
-Custom race envelopes for easy browsing of the 24 playable races

This game is an epic experience where every decision feels important. You will need an intense focus on strategy, but your strategy may be different from your opponents', as there are many different paths to victory. This is a huge, expansive game with thousands of pieces. It's also a long one. Be prepared to devote a full afternoon. But it will be an afternoon very well-spent.

Something isn't right. When you load the game, it just takes you through what appears to be an endless loop asking you to import failed images.

Same here, one million alerts for google drive textures. Please have a look at it.

Hi, I'm not sure if you are still doing anything with this mod (what with the 2nd ed. now released) but I still play this regularly with my group. Recently the Google Drive links for the meshes and textures have gone dead, I think because Google changed some permissions within drive. If they are in your drive could you re-enable them?

With the Eclipse: Second Dawn release, would I be able to use the Second Dawn manual? Or would I still need to use the First Edition's manual?

(I'm a brand new player, so I know this question may not make sense.)

(to be perfectly clear: the distortion tiles are indeed under Shapers of Dorado, I just still find it confusing how others are supposed to use distortion)

I've read it and still don't understand if someone who isn't Shapers use time distortion...

I am selectively deleting objects from expansions to my liking (mostly because I plan to play with friends who hadn't seen this game at all and I myself don't know all the extras). I wanted to remove the distortion tiles but they seem to be missing anyways? There's an empty brown bag and I suspect that may have been for distortion tiles. Haven't read distortion rules so not sure.
Tip for anyone else selectively deleting stuff: look for expansion notches; but use overview for discoveries - they're missing notches.
