What to do with them Darn Crates!

This a quick an imformative guide on what to do with TF2 supply + ammunition crates when dropped! [BTW, this is my first guide and I was a former f2p so don't hate too much]

Trashing

The first and most efficient way to get rid of those crates is to trash them! Trash them like the garbage they are!!
You can do this as you see them drop into your inventory as shown below.
This easily gets rid of them to make room in your backpack, which is a big deal for free-2-plays as they have a limited amount of space. This lets you fill that backpack space with stuff more important like you gibus hats!! Truly important my friends!

Selling

So yeah, you can sell them... for 1 cent <<<Who can beat that?!
Bascally these are worth near nothing on the steam market though and I don't recomend this as a top priority. But if you're willing to scavenge 100 crates for a full $1 than be my guest. Another thing to put into perspective is that it takes for ever to sell them (even though they say >300 are sold in a day it's a still slow)

However, if you have summer, winter, gun metal, tough break, or cosmetic cases these are worth about a cent more and sell much quicker as the weapons that come out of them are worth more.

Again, don't use it as your main form of crate usage! Sometimes it's just about the same as trashing it!

Trading

Some crates are actually more valuable than others (not by much) as some have higher chances of profit with some giving a 99% of disappoinment with others 33%!! trade.tf has made a wonderful section putting these crates into a nice little spread and you should check it out to see if your crate is worth that 0.06 refined more than normal! xD

This can be helpful as when trading them on websites, those crates are more likely to traded for a higher profit and yeild you more scraps and weapons.

Don't get ahead of yourself though, crates are still crates and most of the time are worth still nothing!

However, there are some cases on trade servers where someone might be selling scraps or normal weapons for 2-4 of those boxes of junk your carring!

Lastly, if I may add, especially for those free-2-plays out there: save at least one crate for that one time that you ever get a key! It may have that extra special Strange Vaccinator!!!
