Introduction
Hi to all, and welcome to my 100% Chroma Squad Achievements Guide. In this game there are a total of 43 achievements (2 are secrets). To reach the 100% completion you need a minimum of three playthroughs, one for each of the endings, and, usually, to play the game a fourth time to reach the total of 100 episodes completed for the "Episodes Hero" achievement. IMHO, I would play the game this way:

  • First Playthrough: Play the first game on "Interesting" difficulty. "Challenging" can be too hard if this is the first time you play the game, and "Casual" is really too easy - so easy that is hard to understand what is really important to choose for equipments, skills, etc... When you reach the finale of the fourth season choose one the paths (details below, in the "Achievements - Endings" section) - personally I suggest to choose the "Tammy" or the "Night Driver" route for this playthrough.
  • Second Playthrough: Now something more serious - play the game on "Challenging" difficulty. You will immediatly notice that you are playing at maximum difficulty: the enemies have more health and hit really hard. Even if you are really good at this game, you will probably experience some problems on the third part of the finale of the first season (the boss is really powerful and your rangers are really weak), and in the finale of the last season. For this playthrough, I suggest to choose the "Space Sheriffs" route: against the final boss, you will be aided by all the three space sheriffs - with a total of 8 playable characters is easier to kill/block the most dangerous Weapon Bearers and/or kill the boss.
  • Third Playthrough: And now... relax! "Casual" difficulty to finish fast the game. This time, obviously, choose the ending that you are missing.

In one of these playthrough, REMEMBER to choose as one of your rangers Mr. Beaver for the "Save my telly!" / "I though we were friends..." achievements (more details in the "Achievements - Others" section). At the end of the third playthrough, you will probably miss only the "Episodes Hero" achievement, so start again the game on "Casual" and complete episodes until you get it.
However, you can, virtually, obtain all the achievements in one SINGLE playthrough. Start the game on "Challenging" difficulty, take with you Mr. Beaver, and BEFORE recording the season finale of the fourth season, go to (steam folder)\SteamApps\common\ChromaSquad\chromasquad_Data\savedGames: here are located the savegames of Chroma Squad. Save in another location the two files of your game (you will recognize them by looking at the date) and play the game, choosing one of the endings. When you finish the game, replace the savegames with the ones you "put aside" and load the game: you will be at the finale of the fourth season. Remember that you can lower the difficulty in the "Settings" menù! However, you must consider that you need anyway to play 100 or more episodes to get the "Episodes Hero" achievement, so is more fun to play the game "naturally" (but you can use this method also for this achievement, by replaying X times the fourth season finale and the fifth season).

And now, the achievements. I split them into sections - sections based on their type - so you can easily find them. You will find hints, descriptions and images to help you to get them. Enjoy the reading!
Achievements - Story Progression
You will get these achievements by playing, so they are unmissable:

At the end of the first episode of the fifth season you will also get one achievement relative to the path you have chosen (see below, in the section "Achievements - Endings", for details). By finishing the game you will also get the ending achievement relative to the path you have chosen and one, or more, relative to the difficulty.
The difficulty achievements are these:

These achievements are retroactive, so if you finish the game on "Interesting" difficulty you will get the "Hero" and the "Tourist Hero" achievements, while if you finish the game on "Challenging" difficulty you will get the "Hero", "Tourist Hero" and "Brave Hero" achievements.
Achievements - Endings
WARNING: SPOILER! Avoid this section if you don't want any spoilers of the game.

In Chroma Squad there are three different endings: you will be "forced" to choose one path on the third part of the finale of the fourth season. If you see all the three endings, you will get this achievement:

These are the three paths:

The "TAMMY" route

During the fight against Lord Gaga and Tammy, defeat Lord Gaga but leave Tammy alive. At the end of the episode, you will have to choose if Tammy can join your party (the "TAMMY" button), or if she must return to her family (the "CEREBRO" button). Choose TAMMY.
Tammy will become the sixth ranger of your squad. You cannot modify her skills or equipment, and she will automatically join your party at the beginning of every episode. Remember that although she is a ranger, she CANNOT replace the "original" rangers or take part in any Finishing Move. She is good at fightning, and is really fun to use especially thanks to her "poses" (with the "Tiger" pose she recovers 30% of her health each time she kills an enemy, and with the "Dragon" pose she gains Skills Regen instead).

At the end of the first episode of the fifth season you will get this achievement:

At the end of the game you will get this achievement:

The "SPACE SHERIFFS" route

During the fight against Lord Gaga and Tammy, defeat Lord Gaga but leave Tammy alive. At the end of the episode, you will have to choose if Tammy can join your party (the "TAMMY" button), or if she must return to her family (the "CEREBRO" button). Choose CEREBRO.
In this route you will get one of the three space sheriffs - you will receive an in-game email that allows you to choose which sheriff you will use in the fifth season. For additional details on the sheriffs, I suggest you to view THIS good guide here on Steam. Like Tammy, you cannot modify the skills or the equipment of the chosen sheriff, and he will automatically join your party at the beginning of every episode. The episodes of this route are similar to the ones of the Tammy route, except for the finale. Remember that against the last boss all the three sheriffs will join your party - IMHO this route is a good choice for "Challenging" difficulty.

At the end of the first episode of the fifth season you will get this achievement:

At the end of the game you will get this achievement:

The "NIGHT DRIVER" route

During the fight against Lord Gaga and Tammy, first defeat Tammy and then Lord Gaga.
This route is my favorite: the Assault ranger will get the "Night Cyclone", a "weapon" that give him the Night Driver skills - three wonderful skills. This is a "lone ranger" route: for most of the season you will have only the Assault ranger.

At the end of the first episode of the fifth season you will get this achievement:

At the end of the game you will get this achievement:

Achievements - Craft
At the beginning of each season you will gain a new set of craft items and materials, highlighted by a new color and a new quality. Craft an object for each quality to get these achievements (is not necessary to save the game, so you can craft an object, get the achievement, exit the game without saving and reload):

There is also another achievement, relative to the mecha and to the craft:

Remember that the craft system is NECESSARY to upgrade the mecha (you cannot buy the parts at the shop).
Achievements - Mecha Battle
There are four achievements relative to the mecha battle:

Easy: use a Finishing Move to deal the last blow to a Kaiju. Your mecha start with a Finishing Move ("Sword Strike"), so you can virtually get this achievement during the first mecha fight.

For this you must be a little lucky: you must deplete the first health bar of a Kaiju on the first turn. The hit chance decrease with each hit, so the best method is to punch an enemy three/four times and then use a Finishing Move. The chance to get this achievement decrease as the game progresses, since the health of the enemies increase season after season. If you have problems with this achievement, play on "Casual" difficulty: the Kaiju will have less health.

If you die during a Mecha Battle, you will get an additional health bar thanks to the power of your fans: a second chance to defeat the Kaiju. If you are unlucky like me (too MANY "miss" with 90%+ of hit chances) you will get this achievement sooner or later. X-D
This achievement is more difficult to get on "Casual" difficulty: the Kaiju deal very little damage in this difficulty...

Without any upgrades to the hit chances, this achievement is really, really difficult to get. You can increase the hit chances of the Mecha with "The Hunter" head, with every upgrade of the right arm (the "Precise Hunter" is the best) and by crafting "The Pointer" (a Mega quality gun), but, for the purpose to get this achievement, the most important thing is the "Aerodynamic Arm" left arm (the first level is enough): thanks to it, you will acquire the "Flurry Strike" ability, which is essentially a +3 to the combo counter - and you CANNOT MISS with this ability. So perform a 6x combo against a Kaiju (the upgrades to the hit chances will help you a lot) and then use "Flurry Strike" to get this achievement. Is possible to get this achievement without "Flurry Strike", but even with all the upgrades to the hit chances you will still need a lot of luck.
But there is another, easier method to get this achievement (thanks to Mikey for reporting): against the final boss, during the mecha battle, if you die, you will return to fight thanks to the power of your fans: in this "strenghtened form" you CANNOT miss, so is really easy to achieve a 9+ combo.
Achievements - Rangers Battle
There are five achievements relative to the rangers battle:

Easy. Surround an enemy with your rangers and click on "Teamwork" for each of them. You will probably get this achievement in the prologue (this or "Chroma Fusion"). When the phrase "Finish it!" show up on the head of a boss, you can be sure that this Finish Move will kill it.

Easy. Surround an enemy with your rangers: for four of them click on "Teamwork", then click on the enemy with the fifth ranger. You will probably get this achievement in the prologue (this or "Like They Do On TV").

Easy, but you must pay attention to two things: every ranger must have a weapon equipped, and all the weapons must not be on cooldown. To use this Finishing Move surround an enemy at weapon range (yes, you can use this at distance if you have ranged weapons), choose "Teamwork" for four rangers and then use the weapon on the enemy with the fifth ranger.

In other words, you must complete ALL the Director Instructions of the first season. Maybe I am wrong, but I think that, actually, the achievement requires that you "just" complete a certain number of Director Instructions on the first season (25, if I remember correctly), in any numbers of playthrough. On my first playthrough I completed 23 (or 22) Director Instructions, and on the second playthrough I get this achievement on the prologue, after 2/3 Director Instructions: I am not sure, but is strange that I missed so many Director Instructions on the prologue...

Follow the Director Instructions, don't use a Finish Move on a boss if you are not sure to kill it (wait for the "Finish it!" phrase to show up), don't lose any rangers in battle - I think you will get this achievement sooner or later, is really easy, especially on the longer episodes.
Achievements - Studio Management

You start the game with the possibility to upgrade the studio to level 2 (you will need 1000$ - you must go to "Studio", click on the right arrow to go to page 2, click on "Bigger Studio" and then "Activate"): do it and you will get this achievement (but I think is a better idea to wait for season 2 - you can, however, buy the upgrade, get the achievement, exit the game without saving and reload).

You will get the possibility to upgrade to level 3 the studio later in the game (you must first upgrade to level 2): do it and you will get this achievement. If you don't really want to buy this upgrade, but you want this achievement, remember that you can buy this upgrade, exit the game without saving and reload the game - problem solved.

Go to "Studio" and... buy everything (you must max out the studio)! You will need a lot of money, and remember that new upgrades will show up at the beginning of season 2, 3 and 4.

Really easy: go to "Marketing", choose an agency and hire it for three episodes.

Go to "Marketing", hire an agency and... activate all the Marketing Actions (the four actions in the bottom). For the purpose to get this achievement hire one the inital agencies (like "A Part-Time Accountant") when you have a lot of fans: the agencies that you will unlock later in the game require a lot of Fan Power to activate their actions. Remember that is NOT necessary to save the game to get this achievement (you will get it immediatly after activating the four actions), so you can exit the game without saving if you don't really want that agency.

If you hire agencies that increase the "Income Conversion Rate" and you play well the episodes (so you get a lot of audience), you will gain a lot of money, so get this achievement is not a problem, even on your first playthrough, by buying random things on the shop. However, if you want this achievement fast, there is a little trick: the progression for this achievement is registered after every purchase - saving the game is not needed. So you can buy random things in the shop until you finish the money, exit without saving, reload the game and repeat until the achievement will not show up.
Achievements - Others

Is actually very easy: hire agencies that increase fan and income conversion rate, get a lot of audience in the episodes by playing well and following the Director Instructions. If you play well you will get it in no time.

You will need a lot of time to get this achievement, but if you play the game three times to see the three endings, you will be really close to complete it (you can check the progression in your Chroma Squad's achievements page). You can use the "savegames export" method that I explained in the Introduction to replay X times the first season (after the Prologue) to get this achievement fast, but is not really necessary if you want to play the game three times.

After some episodes in season 1 you will receive this in-game email:

Choose "Will you be our director?" to get this achievement. A small note: regardless of this choice, you still have to choose between "tributes" or "court". In season 2 some episodes will be different depending on which choice you made, so if you want to see everything in this game (there are no other achievements linked to this choice), remember your choice for a second playthrough.

For these two achievements you will need Mr. Beaver as one of your rangers:

Play the game until you reach season 3 and play this episode:

In the third part of this episode you will face the boss, a... giant television. X-D To get the "I thought we were friends..." achievement you will need to hit the boss with Mr. Beaver, while to get the "Save my telly!" achievement you will need to NOT hit the boss with Mr. Beaver. You can get the two achievements in one playthrough: play the episode, reach the boss and hit it with Mr. Beaver - you will get immediatly the first achievement. Exit the game, replay the episode but this time do not hit the boss with Mr. Beaver: you will get the achievement after the mecha battle. I tried to do a Finishing Move on the boss for the Director Instruction requirement (the most basic, I surrounded the boss with the five rangers and I clicked on "Teamwork" for all of them, the pink ranger last), and I get however the achievement.

You can still get both of the Beeves achievements in one playthrough I just did so.

That being said after reseting Beeves didn't attack him and i didn't do the team finish and it popped.

@Xan_Dee I have got both in the same playthrough, but this was years ago - I don't know if something changed meanwhile.

Excelent guide! I really apreciate it.
Just a feedback: I also had the same problem as Jorge. There is no way you can get those two achievements in the same playthrough.
