HVAK-Type 2 Drone

The "High-Velocity Assault Kamikaze" Type 2 Drone is a "throw-away" last ditch weapon. Designed for swam assaults on high-pirority targets, the HVAK uses it's quad chainguns to blast through enemy fighters trying to intercept it. A pair of rear-firing missile launchers help to discurage pursuite and can be used for strafing runs. While it is "average" as a drone combatant, the HVAK's high-mass and raw engine power turn it into a very deadly kinetic energy weapon. Any unspent missiles in the ammunition racks and any unspent fuel add to it's concusive power.

The type 1 drone lacked the rear launchers which proved to be a huge disadvantage when attempting kamikaze runs against targets of importance as intercepting fighters would perform a flanking manuver around any HVAK drones and destroy them from behind with relative ease.

Both versions of the HVAC have minimal shields and only a basic hull for armor, they rely on their blistering speed and extreme manuverability to generate succesful use.
