By [rawr]0xc000deadbeef
Ever wanted to take Steam games and play on a friends PC, or at an Internet Cafè? Well, read this guide and you can make CSGO or any other game portable! Just make sure the PC has a decent Internet connection and good enough hardware to play on.

Main Instructions (Important!!)
Format a large flash drive (around 16 gigs or bigger, in my case a 32 gig worked fine if you want multiple games as some are quite large.)
Copy your Steam folder from Program Files to your flash drive (including the Steam Library)
If your steam Library is located on another hard drive copy the folder over into the Steam folder and don't change anything.

There should be a SteamApps and a SteamLibrary on your flash drive.
Now unplug your flash drive and run it on the desired PC, it should not ask for a verification code, now point Steam to the SteamLibrary folder on your flash drive.
You can do this via the menu by going to Settings ---> Downloads ----> Steam Libraries and then select the SteamLibrary folder on your flash drive.

You should now be able to run games without a hitch, If it still asks you to install the game you have done something wrong and you should double check, I have done this with DoTA 2 on a friend's PC, I could play against bots and also watch games and also it does not leave any Steam details on the PC and it does work just for an extra saftey measure tick the "Don't keep my password/Don't remember my password", Steam will load all the hours played and also your friends.
Enjoy and I hope you find this guide useful. :)

Extra note: I have not tried this yet but it is possible you could download/update games to the SteamLibrary, just make sure to copy the updated SteamLibrary folder to your original PC.
