How to Create a Custom Radio Station - GTA V PC Tutorial

In this Tutorial you'll find out how to create a custom radio station for Grand Theft Auto V for the PC. The radio can be accessed in Story mode and Online. Once you've copied your files over you'll be listening to your favourite tunes.

Step 1 - Location on Your Computer

The default location for saving your custom music is location at
C: Drive >> Documents >> Rockstar Games >> GTA V >> User Music
as the Screen Shot shows

Step 2 - Copy and Paste Your Music Files

Music Files can be Formated in MP3, Wav or any other standard music format.
Once you've got your files you want to copy over you can select the track and the right-click on your mouse and click "Copy" then move to the "User Music" folder and right-click and click "Paste".
(Or User "Control + C" and then "Control + V" for a quick copying method)

Step 4 - In Game GTA V Settings

When in Grand Theft Auto you go to:
Game Menu >> Settings >> Audio
Once here you can modify the Radio Style from being:
Radio - Tradition with GTA Style Ads and Host
Random - Picks a track from the folder in a random order
Sequential - Plays through the tracks in the order that folder formated

To Scan in Music click the "Perform Full Scan for Music". This will add the songs into your Custom Radio Station - Suggestion to leave the "Auto Scan for Music" Button set to "On". Then you won't have to scan for music generally.


Then in the Radio menu select "Self Radio" then you're set for your custom tunes.

But Self Radio is a custom one, made by Rockstar..

The point honestly would be more about, creating.. a radio that for example:

1) Trance
2) Rock
3) Pop
4) etc

and all Custom made, by each player...

Because so far i wasn't able to put a folder inside the Music one and be able to hear different "radios"..

Worked fine, but the self radio station is about 1/2 to 1/4 of the volume of the other stations, how can I turn up the self radio station?
