Getting numeric ping back

How to replace the new ping bar on the scoreboard with the numeric ping you're used to.

Valve replaced my ping with a reception bar, help!

What to do to get numbers back

1st Open up the main menu (Yes, you can do this while on a server.)

2nd Open the Adv. Options menu

3rd Scroll down to where you see the 'Display ping values as text on the scoreboard' option (under the Hud Options section) and make sure the box is checked

That's it, there's no fourth step, you're done!

Alternatively, the console.

If you know how to open the console and use console commands, you can enter this command to activate numeric ping.

tf_scoreboard_ping_as_text 1

However!

Using this method, you will either need to enter the command every time you open tf2, or add it as a launch option.

Ping numbers, yay!
